If all Spyders, Tippmanns, Excelorators, and Pirahnas have the same exact operation how can one be better that the other?

it depends on alot of things...such as quality of parts, parts design, etc. Like the way a pirhana bolt looks diff. than a spyder bolt from the factory, or a tippman bolt. And aftermarket parts as well.

Are you saying the Piranha's better ?

You forgot a big one, THE PLAYER!

Tippmanns don't work exactly like a spyder, there blowback, but designed quite differently. But I think the tippmanns design is better, makes it more reliable.

Well, some have better triggers, AM parts, but there is also the mental part, like built in the USA, thats another reason I recomend beguiners away from Spyders

Automobiles have the exact same operation, are some better than others. I think you can answer this one by yourself. Care to race your Hyundia against my Vett.

uhhhh last i checked hyundais dont have a vette engine in them lol. i think a hyudia is only a 4 cylinder. but ne way if the guns have the same parts thew will perform the same way. one can out perform the other if it has different parts like an expansion chamber, regulator, barrel, valve and all that other stuff. but for the most part the performance difference between to stock low end blow backs is not gonna be a big difference.

The player behind the marker can be a BIG part of outpreforming another marker! If you are going to go car comparisons.. its like an IROC vs a Mustang, they are both fast as he11 but the better driver will prevail!

It really does depend on your velocity, barrel, bolt, and type of air you are operating on.

Inline design is no more reliable than over-under designs. It's still the exact same principle (blowback) only it becomes extremely difficult and awkward to use volume chambers with an inline design (ever see how you have to set up an LP tippman, ugh) while an over under places the volumizer in a very convenient location (under the barrel).

automobiles is a good analogy.

comparing a Acura Integra GSR, and the Acura Integra LS. both are 4 bangers, but obviously different due to the technical internals
