Does this come with everything I need?
Do I need to buy fittings..etc?

it should do, and it is one of the easiest solenoid optimisers to install, but make sure that you hae an impy with an SN# less than 12000 as the air transfer hole needed isn't drilled into newer imps

The 15 degree comes with everything. All you need is the allen wrench to scerw it in. One thing though, be sure to screw the two things in the holes (you'll know what I'm talking about when you get it) really tight, or it'll leak. I had that problem the first day I used it and it took a while to find where the leak was comming from (thought I had busted an o-ring), but once I found it it was easy to fix.

midnight says he has 13000 something, how does that work?
Mine is the newest of the new..
So it won't fit or work?
You both contradicted each other..so who's right?
I'm guessing midnight is since he has it on his..
What gas through would look good on a 15degree though?
Gadget doesn't fit since it's 1/8"

Mine fit perfectly. I got it mainly for looks, and since I already have the aggressor solenoid optimizer I don't really know how it works as a stand alone. As far as I know though, it works the same as a VFF but with an angle. Also, I mounted it on my gun with no additional hardware, and as you said, my serial number is above 13000 (above 14000 in fact). It comes with a 1/8 screw that connects the adaptor to the standard gas-through grip female end (just a standard 1/8 fitting). You just need a fairly big allen wrench to scerw it in (if you don't have one big enough, most hardware stores sell large sets, I got a 14 wrench set for $3). It also has the o-ring and side screw I mentioned in my other post.

If you have the newest Impulse, it is not drilled for the "full flow" conversion. While you are able to mount it on the gun, it will NOT give you the isolated sllonoid you would like to have.

You can get the angled ASA adapter for a bit less (about $25) then get a gas thru grip (like a rat tail <G>)

You still should add an air mod. The tape worm is the cheapest (I even know of a place that will send you one for $15 including shipping) and ofcourse the LPR is the BEST.

Hope this helps

hmm, i just bought one, but it didnt get here yet.. my imp SN is 006469 ... i have the tapeworm installed, and im going to install this as soon as i recieve it.. are the tapeworm and HFV compatible? will the gun still function correctly with both installed? will there be ANY negative side effects?

i have a 15* AFF (its the tilted version of the HFV) on my Impulse. Its a great mod. better than a tapeworm type mod, but not as good as an LPR. It improved my efficiency, and it makes the gun more comfortable to hold.

if you have an Imp that is too new to work with a Full Flow mod, consider buying a New Designz 15* verticle adapter, then putting an LPR on it(its better than mounting in on the vavle cap).

Surreal: they are not compatable, the tape worm will cancle out the effects of the Full Flow. I know of a couple people who just choped off the back of the tapeworm, and used it just as a fancy plug. then used their Full Flow mod.

no no, i dont think you understood my question. i dont really care about the 'benefits' of having the full flow. i just want to know if my gun will still function properly with BOTH installed. i only got the angled full flow so i can actually use both screws on my drop, i needed to move the maxflo forward. when i get the AFF, if i just install it WITHOUT doing ANYTHING to the tapeworm, will my gun still function 100% properly?

basically you can't have both the tapeworm and the AFF and expect it to work at 100%

either, get an AFF, but then take out your tapeworm, or, keep your tapeworm and follow Stuarts advice and get an angled vert adaptor

maybe you should stop being a flamer. I answered the question with what you quoted. it will work, but it would be like having just a tapeworm and no Full Flow mod. mayber you should read more carefully.

well if it makes you any happier, i snapped my tapeworm in half and installed my AFF today.. i just use the front end of the tapeworm as a fancy plug for that little hole now

Cra p. I was meaning for your name to be under the quote. As in that you said it, the lesson taught was for surreal.

hey buddy, FU. you and him didnt understand my question. he said "they arent compatible, the FF will cancel out the effects of the tapeworm" .. he didnt say "you cant use them together" ... as i said in my previous posts, i DONT CARE ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF AFF. i got it mainly so i can mount a gauge/prv and use my drop all the way forward.

sorry bout that sunolplayeress.

surreal, when I said "tape worm will cancle out the effects of the Full Flow," what i meant was, you can use them at the same time, but the tapeworm will make the gun perform like there was no AFF. So it would be like all you had was a tapeworm, and a regular tilted verticle adapter.
