Need Help!! (Screw Stripped)

Hey, i just bought a cover for my wgp regulator, but i cant get one of the screws off (i need to rotate the cover) can anyone tell me how i can fix this? i really need to get it off!!!

use a screwdriver thats just bigger than the hole that should grab the last part of the slot that dont get striped near the edges.

i have an allen key set and only the smallest one fits in the hole, the hole is 1/16"

i heard someone say you could put plumbers putty in there and mold it around the allen key. does this work?
