well you already have a spyder. so why dont you save up for a cocker or a mag? you wont notice much difference in a "higher end" spyder from your compact

It all depends on what you want. If you want something that be reliable, be easy to maintain, and be able to perform in tournament class with alot of upgrades get a tippy. If you want something that will be a good gun right out of the box get the xtra.

Don't get me wrong the tippy is a good gun right out of the box but the spyder (xtra) has already been urgraded a little bit for you.

you could go tourney with a spyder if you had the right upgrades...not that you would want to... pr0ckch0p is right, if you already have a compact 2000 there's no point in getting another spyder, like the xtra. it'll basically be similar to what you have with a few added upgrades. you won't feel a big difference. i would definitely save up for a cocker or a mag if you are wanting to get something that's an upgrade from your spyder.

If you sold your gun and you're looking for a new one, I'm with the guy who said don't get a spyder or a tippman. Why buy one again if you just sold your spyder? If you want something that will perform well and has very little maintanence, go with the Automag.

well first of all screw tippmans and now why buy a low end blow back for 200 buy a ckcker for 300 off the net or if you aint confident you can maintain one( i was the same way until i got my first one and it aint that hard you just have to read about them) but if you feel you cant maintain it get a mag ok please dont get another blow back take back bottles. lol

Paintball is more expensif in canada. For exmaple. a tippann model 98 is 125$ US but im canada its 360-400$ CAN
If u do the currency exchange 125$us + 45% = 181$ So i pa
159$ more. And its like that with almost every gun

Wait why don't you just buy the gun online. Then it will be really cheap except for shipping. Do you have to pay canadian online?

The eternally undecisive argument between Tippmann and Spyders. Lol

Don't just rule the cocker out because you think your too dumb for it. If you have the money definantly get the cocker... but buy it from a pro shop so they can show you all the stuff about it.
