Does any one have one? I purchased one yesterday at my local pro shop.
I bought it used, and talk the owner down to $10. The inside is nice, smooth, & scratch free. However someone painted the outside a dark green. At least they were good enough not to paint over the porting.

It's one of the hidden secrets of paintball I've stated many times in the past. This is possibly the nicest tube I've ever shot for the Raptor. Use PMI Premium and it's very accurate. You'll have no problems with it.

Yes, I am glad to hear that. Also I am glad to hear premium's are good in it. Because I love premium's they are cheap and great paint. Also readily available at the local k-mart.
Now time to go find myself a cheap delrin bolt for the raptor.
Anyone know of any manufacturers of them for the raptor?

well, my brother had one on his raptor, it was all-right. not amazing, but neither are the aspects of the gun.
the one thing that i didn't like was how it was attached. it was wierd, the part where it goes from the base to the porting, the barrel size changes significantly. i didn't know how that'd hold up, but it seems it'd lasted fora while.
well... while i'm in the thread, just outa curiousity, have you guys had alot of trouble w/ ur gun? my brother's sear goes every 2,000 shots and every 10,000 something else goes.

hah, well that being said, if u guys are lookin for parts, i myte b sellin, or partin his out incase you're interested, it does have the aftermarket delrin bolt which does help significantly.

Try modding a pirhana sear (if you can get your hands on one.) to fit a Raptor. Those should last you a while. And also try modding an aluminum hammer to fit the Raptor. The pot metal one weighs about half as much as a lead one. Which isnt good, it'll trash your valve. You need to put a piece of clear plastic tubing over your drive spring, just short enough to allow it to recock, but not so short that the striker goes back all the way. You should have no more problems with the gun. (Run it on liquid co2, I get extremely consistant readings like that, +/- 3 fps :D )

I'm getting an indication from all your posts like this that it may be time to crack open the ol' piggy bank and buy a Matrix or something and play some concept fields.....

I WISH I could be as bad as you could. These are simply mods to increase reliability to the point that you COULD use it as a backup. The best thing about the Raptor bone stock is the trigger pull, has anybody else noticed that?

most definately, my bro cud rip off shots amazingly quick. and i was suprised that the gun actually cud keep up w/ the speed he was firing at.

Yep I agree. All that I did to mine was add a trigger stop for the excess rear travel and it is down to 2.5 mm. It is kinda heavy compared to some but, it makes it short and snappy. Plus I took a file and sandpaper to the trigger and made it nice and flat, wide, and smooth as silk. It has a very nice look also. Reminds me of a double trigger on a viper M1.
