Which one is the better buy?

I know that the select comes with the blue bolt kit, but does the red kit really perform much better?

Here is what im looking at right now...
1.Matrix Select w/ crossfire 68/45
Pbc blade trigger
a mid rise
halo B or evoII
total price for me equals around 920 (i will get tank for xmas)

2.Matrix Led w/crossfire 68/45
trinity reg, and red bolt kit
Pbc blade trigger
haloB or evoII
total price for me equals around 935 (i will also get a tank for xmas)

Does the Matrix or Matrix select come with bottomline, macroline, etc? And is the bolt and trinity reg hard to install? Does it require loctite or anything?

thanks!

it should come with macroline and the fittings. as for the bottom line im not too sure on that, i have seen some come with it, and some without. the select that we just got, came with the macro fittings, and a bottom line adapter. I would call the shop where you are going to order from and find out prior to placing an order.

the aardvark kit does perform better, i believe the difference is what a 13% difference? im not too sure on that. but with the matrix being a gas hog from the start any bit of efficiency is a big help.

it is around 13%, and it prevents bolt-stickage alot better as well. blue ones and other kits still do it.

due to my current toy budget being low,i went ahead and saved the $ and bought the select

114 for the red kit is alot easyer to come up with down the line than at the time of purchase

and if it does the job,i saved some $

or not sell it to someone who cant afford a red kit off the bat
and make a dent in a red kit cost to replace it

im gonna be running it off a 88/45 stubby so ill post some shot counts after the weekend

cheers

it's not hard at all, the trinity is just a screw in process. while the bolt kit is a tiny bit harder to install it's not difficult at all. simple install, although you'll have to be carefull when installing the bolt kit chip, that is probably the hardest part. non the less... easy
