As long as the ball is shooting at the same fps no barrel is going to shoot farther than another. It's physics

The distance doesn't rely on barrel length, it's more barrel/paint match and velocity.

Actually.. barrel length does matter. After 12 inches the gas pressure starts losing pressure to push the paintball out which means you will get shorter distance with a 16-20 inch barrel. a 6 inch barrel will be very accurate but will be limited to 50 feet of shooting.. it's very accurate though. Paintball to barrel match is such a scam, it's only scamming people who buy high price ridiculous aluminum (low quality metal) barrel so they can buy high price paintball.

Size doesnt matter with distance. However with some materials you can achiev a little more distance. Like nickel and brass both have a low friction surface but they dent easily. Stainless is also very slick and isnt as fragile. The flatline gives the ball a backspin to give it a flat long trajectory. And by the way tsr, aluminum is used on fighter aircraft (granted it part alloy but for the most part its aluminum) so it is not a "low quality metal".
