a new barrel by crossfire, this thing looks awsome. it has inches of a normal barrel, then has metal the rest of the way. there a 4 rods that each touch the barrl inne place and the rods are held in place by metal rings. it makes shootin after a bre easy because the ball only touches the barrel in 4 spots. the ball reaches its necessary velocity in 4 inches anyway, so more barrel isnt needed. here are some tests that were done:
1. 3 balls were held in someones hand and squished the metal of the barrel, a situation far worse than can happen. it took one shot to clear the debris and then it shot in same grouping as without the break. grass was added and it was done again (as grass might get in b/c barrel is open). on shot to clear, same result. then th added dirst and gravel. 2 shots to clear, same result. looks awsoime....

this barrel is accurate but not the best it is a gas waster due to when to ball gets to the rod part of the barrel alot of the gas behind the ball is lost but as the ball travels some air gets sucked behind the ball which then agian speeds the ball up so there causing it to be inaccurate and a gas wasted

when you say gas is wasted i asume you are refering to the compressed air being used (if you are not just go away). that measn that if the barrel is a gas waser it somehow controls how much air the valve lets into the gun and how muchair is used to propell the ball. that is what a gas waster means. it means it causes more c/a to be used in each shot

no i am talking compressed air who doesn't use n2/hpa these days and what i am saying is that the barrel can't hold air like other barrels so the normal amount of gas is used but most gas is lost in the actual ball going down barrel process and the barrel lets air out from behind the ball

1. compressed air is co2 and nitro
2. many peopleuse co2-some guns work better with it
3. than the ba does not "waste air" as you said before. the necess amount of air to push the ball out of the barrel is there. after the first 4 inches of a barrel, a ball has enough force travel the correct distane, and the restof the barrel is purely for accuracy to set the ball straight. so, the part of the barrel that is enclosed gives ball its force and the rods directe ball. once again, you are shot down.

actualy compressed air is also refered as the air in scuba tanks biening transfered to a compressed air tank.and n2(nitrogen)isn't the same thing as the stuff most good diving shops put in scuba tanks because nitrogen is dirty air compressed air is exactly the air we breath every day unless you live in NY the air sucks there (on offense).so i think that time you were shot down

when i said compressed air is n2 and co2 i meant that i was both those things. not oly those things though. i said that because fro your post that said"no i am talking compressed air who doesn't use n2/hpa these days" it sounded like you didnt know that compresseda r was also co2, like you thought it was only n2. and he part where you sad that n2 isnt same air as diving shops have or whatever and new york air and dirtiness, whatevre the hell you said, i dunno why you said that. i never talked about anything like that. you kinda just suck that in there for no reason..i duno
