cup anybody?

well I think I had the closest call of all time time. It was one of the last games of the day and this guy just ran up 3/4 of the field to the other side of a spendle I was using as cover. Before I had time to think he was about 5 feet away from me with his finger on the trigger.

My reaction made my hand cover up my "goods" and Thank God! I Got hit in the hand. It left a pretty good welt right there too.

That was like a week ago and I am still shaking from it:paranoid:

I had an incident that re-affirmed why I wear a cup.

I was crouched next to a tree, not realizing that this one bunker near me happened to contain a girl on the opposing team. Well, she wasted no time in laying in some shots at me. She ended up hitting my thigh and my nads. The resulting bruise on my thigh was several inches across and slightly swollen. If I wasn't wearing my cup, I'd hate to think what my nads would have looked like.

omg, this one time we were playing this game wheremost of the gun owners are just in the middle of the field and the res are coming at us from every different angle, the ratio is like 5:1 (gun owners to rest) , well 5 mins in the game, i got bunkered and took 2 shots in the cup and one shot to the inner thigh, thank God i was wearing my cup as usual:)

I was talking to one of my nabors that plays paintball too and he plays with his friends with thier volicities around 550 fps, they play speedball. well anyway he was saying how he was never going to play paintball with a cup again. Well i looked at him like he was like crazy and then he told me that he got hit on his cup and it got all red and he said "I thought you were using white paintballs, ****" then he relized that it went htrough his cup and his cup rent into is ball sack and then he went to the hospital and had surgery and stiches afterwards.

OMG if you where to get hit in the goggles at that speed you could loose an eye, get hit in the neck and you could get seriously hurt/die.

I hope that kid learned his lesson from playing with those people, if not tell him. Because goggles are only supposed to be shot at about half that speed:eek:

550 feet per second? Mmmm hmmmm...ok. Gee, I'm guessing the balls would chop at about that velocity I'm afraid.

I use Ye Olde Egg Flap - it's a big leather flap that covers your nards. You look like a ******* with it on. I have a sticker that says "huevos grandes" put on it

yah... pls stop filling this forum like a house of lies.

i dont even think you can get a marker to shoot that high (someone correct me if i'm mistaken), but by any rate, it would drasticly curve or 9/10 times wouldnt make it out of the barrel

well, the first time i played at my field i didnt wear a cup. about halfway through the day i got shot twice and the welts were about 2" away from my sack, and i got welts on both sides! i was like "**** that, im wearin a cup from now on!":freak:

i got shot in the balls once, and now to protect my children, i wear a cup everytime. put a mask on your third eye guys!
