the on/off switch (one is slide, and one is push button). the new matrix are made out of a lower quality alloy compared to the older ones, but you really wont see any difference unless you are an anodizer.

the newer matrix can handle a higher input pressure if you accidentally over pressurize the selenoid the older matrix markers will most likely blow, so the new matrix markers have a stronger selenoid that can handle more pressure. The older matrix has a slightly wider trigger frame, the internalls of the oder matrix markers are made to accomodate the older selenoids, using a newer selenoid with an older trigger frame will require very slight modification. stock barrels, the older ones used to come with 14" CP's newer ones come with 14" OTP's. both are .689 bore size. however the select we got came with a 12" CP so im not so sure on barrels. grips, older LE's came with pewter grips, while the new ones dont. the hole pattern on the grips are the same on both markers.

other then that they are the same thing. they shoot exactly the same, just a few changes have been introduced. the strong selenoid doesnt make a stock push shoot any better then a stock slide. it's more of a increased reliability (less prone to blowing the selenoid)

how much psi can the solenoid on the old style trix take b4 it blows, and if the regulator has a prv then doesnt the strength of the solenoid not matter as much as long as the prv will blow early?

hey knight don't forget the connection with the inline reg and o yeah the new ones have a centerflag inline reg instead of a beehive one. ;)

250 psi is how much the old ones can take before it blows.
