yes cocker kid, imps are very nice. very fast, can be extremly quiet, and excellent consistency. cockers are the same, except they arent as fast.

I have a vision impulse and GX-3 cocker with a eclipse hinge on it. Both are nice guns and perform well. The impulse has a higher ROF and wont chop. The GX-3 is a bit more customizable and totally mechnical so no worrying about batteries or circuit boards.

Personally shoot both if you can and go with what you like they are both great markers.

I have a Vision Impulse, my wife shoots a GX-3 'cocker. I prefer the 'cocker. It's smaller, lighter, almost as fast and just as quiet. It also doesn't chop... she's never broken a single ball in 4 or 5 cases. They both have Freaks, so accuracy isn't an issue... they're both dead on, ditto for consistancy as we both use HPA. The GX-3s trigger pull is short enough that it's hard to short stroke.

The only advantage of the Impulse is the higher ROF, but it's not that much faster to be much of an issue. If it were up to me, I'd take take the cocker in a second... but it's not up to me... try them both and decide for yourself.

BTW, anyone wanna trade a nice 'cocker for my Vision Impulse? ;)

wlel the gx4 just came out

cockers and imps are totally diferenct guns, that shouldnt even be compared....

this is one of the stupidest threads.

Why don't you go out and try both of them for yourselves. If you play rec/woods/scenario then get the cocker if you like it. If you play speedball/tourneyball get the imp if you like it.

Just try the two of them, instead of listening to two ragingly biased noobs (cocker kid and frontman) ramble on about a bunch of crap..

I like the feel, looks, and style of a nice Autococker.

Impulses have durability, maintenance, and speed.

first: there different guns, thats why they should b compared

second: how am i biased iv tried cockers and imps b4 and the imp shoots better its not like im saying the impulse is the greatest cuz i own one cuz i kno it isnt thats why i sold it to get something better. so dont go around calling me biased

biased? if i were to be biased, shouldnt i like the gun i own more then one i dont?
if you looked into it more, i really said that an impulse, AND a cocker can be extremly quiet, have excellent consistency. cockers are the same, except they arent as fast.

i could add to the cocker side, saying how it feels like a constant orgasim when shooting, has incredable consistency, and has pretty high speeds. but ive said it all too many times, and wanted to comment on the 'pulse since i recently got a chance to fire nice one.

and yes they should be compared. when choosing a new marker, most people look at all the choices they have. cockers and impulses are basicly the same price. so comparing the two is extremly fitting, since if you dont have a real objection to either, there both a good choice.
