Get the cheapest tank you can find for a black
dragun. It's not worth a maxflow, angel air,
or armaggedon system. And you will still see a
big different in consistency. I'd say go with the
Crossfire 3000 steel tank.

The 47/3000 is fine, but it might be worth it to spring for the 68/3000 stubby, because of the cool shape. Im not sure if they make tank covers for those though :| .

Don't get a halo a. It uses 6 aa batteries and is heavy. Get an evolution 2 for cheaper plus it feeds faster than Halo A.

yeah, i work at a paintball shop in Marlboro, MA, and you could buy the 48ci nitro if you wanna go have it filled about 7 times a day, you'll get less shots than a 9oz, get at least a 68/3000 nitro tank that will get you about 700 shots if you're not running low pressure. If you really wanna get into it, you could go buy a good reg and a spring kit, and run low pressure which will help your air effiency a lot (i converted to low pressure, and aside from the better air effiency, i'm still looking into what other advantages it gives you).and please, do yourself a favor, and stop running it on co2 unless its an anti-siphon tank being run through about a 6-stage expansion chamber, and even still you can freeze up, but of you're running a co2 tank w/o anti-siphon tube, you could seriously mess up the gun if the liquid gets pulled up into the valve. and w/o a good expansion chamber (i'm not even sure if the stock one is a cheesey *** reg, a gas-thru or an expansion chamber) you're going to freeze the valve, which is really not good for it either, nitro is the way to go, no contest...but the tanks are expensive and they need to be hydrostat tested every 3 years (some newer ones are 5 years). but some good, cheap brands are Nitro Duck (paintball Mania Supply) and Crossfire (except the 47ci tanki, thats a Piece of crap). both of the Halos are pieces of crap...people see them, and think they look cool and see the price of $130 and think "wow, these must be great" and they do feed faster than a standard revy X-board...but i've seen so, so many of them come back for a couple of reasons such as; they break paint in the loader during agitation, because the halo's agitation system is so powerful, i've heard complaints about the hopper lids popping open at high capacity and agitating a bunch of paint right out the lid, i've also heard of the gears stripping in the motorized ones, but the other problems apply to both the Halo motorized version and the "b" or belt driven one. if you want a good agitated hopper, start out with a time-proven and tournament proven (go to warpig and look at the tournament galleries, almost everyone is using a 12v revolution) 12v Revvy, and if you feel that 10-13 balls/sec is not enough, go buy the Wicked Air Sportz turbo rev board and votrex impeller for around $40 which will outfeed a Halo when placed upon a high-rise vertical feed, or buy a warp feed, stay away from the halos...they're trouble...

A halo b is one heavy sob. Just get an Evolution 2.....17 bps is enough for pretty much anyone.

I have that exact tank, its fine i guess. Ive never used nitro before i got this thing, and i never used co2 on my bd cuz i got it with the nitro so i dont know about the difference between nitro and co2. Its been pretty good though, ive got about 600-700 shots per fill. The only thing bad is that it doesnt screw in all the way but it doesnt leak or anything. It might be alittle heavy but im used to really heavy guns so i dont really notice it, but its heavier than my bd, so you might want to look in to this if you dont care about weight.

how would a 12v revy ever load faster than a halo? you have no idea what you're talking about dude. the revys are all gravity feed. all they do is jostle the balls so they dont get stuck. the halo forces the paint into the gun, thats why its hella fast. there is NO WAY IN HELL that a 12v could outfeed a halo.

imthedeemon i work in a paintball shop in denver colorado and i think your full of ****. unless you shoot around two cases of paint when you play you are never gonna need to fill a 47/3k tank up 7 times. and you are on crack halobs are better than any other hopper out there there is no other hopper out there that can feed 22 bps consistatly!!!also from my experiances bds run quite well on co2 i might add!

Also, a revvy can only feed a consistent 11bps. On a black dragun you can out shoot it very easy.
A HALO Agaitates??? Wow, thats a new one on me. I thought it was force fed, but i guess im wrong.
Anothing thing, the BD is a HP gun. You will get more shots out of a tank than a LP gun like an Impulse.
As for hoppers, i recommend an eVL2. That is just my opinion. It feeds a consistent 17bps and that is fast enough for me. It is only an inch taller than my revvy, lighter than a HALO, but heavier than a revvy. Also, i has never jammed on me, i have never outshot it, and holds the most paint. Its a great loader and if you dont have the 110 for a HALO go ahead and get the eVL2.
Now if you have the HALO-B and feel that you would rather have it than an eVL2 then get it.
If there was a eVL2 and a HALO-B sat in front of me, with a sign that says "take one." I would pick up the eVL2...

I don't mean to target imthedeem0n, but I am. Even if liquid did get in the gun, how would it mess it up? the worst that could happen would be broken o-rings or a very very small chance that your cup seal would break. I have NEVER seen this happen, but if it freezed up enough there is a 1/1000000000000000 chance that a spring could break.

Liquid CO2 is different than liquid H2O. H2O causes stuff to rust. As far as Liquid CO2 goes I don't think it does anything at all, besides make stuff cold...
