Can anyone shed some light as to how much a cylinder or CO2 and Nitro would cost? I am wondering if it would be more effecient for me to try and "own" one instead of having the tanks field at the field every weekend I go play.
Thanks,

yes... I am thinking about leasing, owning a big tank of CO2 and Nitrogen instead having the field charge my $5+ to fill my bottles.

Oh, that's what I thought. Bulk tanks for CO2 usually aren't that bad, but you'll need a siphon tank if you don't want to flip it upside down (a 75lb capacity tank weighs quite a bit). I leased two twenty pounders last year for $18 for a 6 month lease, the fills were like $12. As for nitrogen, HPA at a scuba shop would probably be cheaper.
As for a recompressor or "booster" nitro Ducks is around 1900 dollars, but you need a compressor to use it anyway (125psi at 13.5cfm? I think).
Hope this helps. :)

thanks for the info!
as for the compressor... that's going to have to be some major compressor.

Well,
My 60 gal 2Stage at home would work I think... But Airtimeair (http://www.airtimeair.com/index.html) sells some complete kits that, well, are almost affordable...
Make sure you look into rental/lease prices locally. Industrial Welding suppliers are usually a good place to look since welders use nitro and Co2. Good luck...

I found out some pricing information for something close to me...
$18 per tank fill for a 304 cubic feet nitrogen tank. $5.25 a month to lease bottle.
But I guess if I want to fill even a 3000 PSI tank, I'd need a booster?

I've never actually used a bulk fill Nitro Tank. I'm not sure how many psi the Nitro would be filled to, so you'd have to check on that... If it's at or around 3000 psi, you might be unimpressed with the results, but I still don't think you'd need a booster... If you do decide to go with Nitro make SURE you get the right fill station, you don't want to go blowin' burst disks (or something worse) all day!
When in doubt, call the place and tell them what you're doing, most coherent business operators... want more business and will try to help. :)
Hope it works out for ya bud,
