the guage on my max flo goes back a little bit each time i hsoot then goes back to where it was real fast...like air isnt getting to it fast enuf so the pressure is going down, then the air comes....im not sure if its normal for it to "tick" liek that..soo...can someone tell me if it is? hehe..
oh ya....does anyone have a new board they would liek to sell me for real cheap? hehe

It sounds like your having a flow problem. If you do a fast string of shots do you see noticable shoot down??
If you do make sure your tank is screwed in tightly, if its not screwed in all the way by even half a turn it can casue shootdown because of poor flow rate.

You probably need to adjust your dwell, or you have a faulty tank valve.

hmm...its prolly the dwell..my dwell is messed up...it doesnt even turn or ne thing, it will turn but it doesnt do anyhting. thats why i want a new board with the easy dwell adjustment..and i havent noticed any shoot down...i dont think

All of the max flows I have seen do that, so I think its pretty normal.

that happens w/ my imp and pmi tank and its not the dwell cuz if u think of it the maxflow is what gets air before the dwell is even involved so it couldnt be that, so the only thing i can suggest is get a higherflowing tank

Yes it is normal to see the pressure gage "flick back and forth when firing. One has to rember that a gage has mass, so it can't possibly read as fast as the pressure changes.

the tick happens with every shot because the gun is evacuating air through the valve to propel the ball. so for a brief moment after every shot, before the reg allows your 180psi or whatever through to recharge the chamber, the gun is almost empty.

k thnx guys......
does anyone know how much cricket boards are??
i either get a new board or a huge tank bcuz my dwell is messed up and i cant adjust it so i have to play with the maxflo at like 130 psi for it to be under 280fps, and i get about 300 shots outs of my 68/3000....
