I've only played paintball about 2 or 3 times and i love it i was hooked the very first time i played. But I was just wondering If anyone would know any good techniques that they use when they play that they could share with me. I currently play woodsball so If u guys have any suggestions on what I should do to help me out and progress more in the field that would be great. Currently i use a Tippmann 98 custom and haven't done anything special too it, but also if u guys have any suggestions on what would be good to use on my gun to make it better that would be cool too.

Communicate a lot and use teamwork as much as you can.

Use stealth and speed to gain angles(as well as easier shots) on your target.

Don't be afraid to get hit.

- communicate, possibly silently (hand signals)
- remember, if they dont see u, they dont know your there, as long as u dont fire they still dont know your there..... take your shots when they get close, not pot shots that will prolly miss
- dont be afraid to get hit, be the point man once in a while, rush down the middle or the side of the woods field as a diversion or as a way to bring the enemy out...
- get your angles in.....

ya, basically what sin said.....

speed causes hell, just remember if u run past your teammates and kill half there team, your own "newbie" team might forget your not on their team and shoot you.....

COMMUNICATION

That's a major one. It's my teams biggest weakness.

When you play ask a lot of questions. Don't worry about looking like a newb. Sorry you are. Not a big deal because we all were at one point. Watch how others play and ask them why they did the things they did. Try them out and see if those things work for you. Modify them to your own style so they work for you. Don't worry about doing things wrong that's how you learn. Watch, listen, take some chances and have a good time. Keep your head down and KEEP YOU MASK ON!!!! Have fun!!
