I hear allot of people talk about their feed necks just snapping off, this recently happened to me, it sucked. How many people have had the same problem? howd it happen?

are you talking about the feed neck on the hopper or the feed neck on the gun?!?!

I think hes talking about the revy neck. Yeah it's happened to me twice now. I don't know why I got another after it happened the first time. The first time it happened I was playing the snake and as I popped up to snap I hit the hopper on the snake and it just snapped like a twig. I then had to get a screwdriver to get the broken part out of the neck of my cocker and scratching it badly. The second time it happened when I was loading my hopper the first day I used it and as I closed the lid one side of the neck broke and then it just fell off. Luckily though my local shop replaced it free twice. But, I just decided to get the rico ak which hasnt failed me yet.

common guys THINK!!! This is in the impulse forum not the revy forum, I am talking about the impulse feed neck. They just pop right off, and smart parts tech support sucks it bad from my experiance. My gun does shoot REALLY nice though to their credit.

and btw for your reference, It says quote un quote at the top of the poll "Has the feed neck on your impulse ever snapped off?"

well this is certainly a nice contrast to all the "help, i can't get my feedneck off" threads we have had lately

snapping feednecks isn't really a big problem, i have never heard of a single case of it happening before you (and I used to work in a p-ball shop)

My bad. Shoulda read forum section. I do have an impulse but the actual feed neck has never broken off. How did yours break off??

The three other impulse owners I know have had it happen to them. Mine just stripped its self and poped off when it took a gentle (key word gentle) bump. To smartparts' credit they were bright enough to make the feed neck of a softer material than the body so the feed neck snapped and not the body.
