Jt. 6.0

Hey everyone, my friend is going to get a new paintball gun and i was wondering if he is making a good decision about getting a JT 6.0 because i have heard some bad things about it. Where would be the best place to buy it and would any other guns compete against it at the same price. we have found a place that cost only $300 with everything including the hopper, co2 tank, ect... you get the picture. I have told him instead to get the spyder shutter ofr the imagine but i don't know about them either. Thanks for the help

I just got a 6.0 around a month ago and it has not given me any problems. It is a great marker!! I would check around on the prices. Paintballgateway.com has one for 230 I think and paintballwizard.com and paintballgear.com have some nice packages for 300. Check these out and just decide what you want. Oh, yeah Firstcallpaintball.com also has a nice package deal.

i know the 5.0 is a really nice gun and i think the six is just the 5 with some goodies so, your freind made a good choice
Paintball wizard has some nice prices and ships fast, although i live only about an hour away.

Here are the "goodies" that the 6 has and the 5 doesn't:

Regulator
Pressure Gauge
Voice Prompts
Vibration Mode
Volumizer

This may not seem like much, but this gun costs only 100 bucks more than the 5.0 and the upgrades would cost much more than 100 bucks. I say go with the 6.0, just the reg makes a world of difference.
