My friend is thinking about buying a Viewloader Revelation and I have not had any experience with this marker, although I have the Genesis shoot, which I was not really impressed . They look exactly the same to me...is there any difference? Also if you could tell me what you think of this marker, thanks a lot.

Got one a month ago. Very nice gun.

Very similar to the Sypders. Most of the parts are the same as the Brass Eagle Avenger, or the VL Genesis.

If you want to add on an expansion chamber, then you either need to buy one of the ones designed for this gun (or the avenger), or you can get an adapter that will let you use any x-chamber or gas-thru-grip or regulator.

The screws in the grip handle for the bottom-line are arranged the same as the ones on the Spyer, so you can pick from lots of different bottom-lines and drop-forwards.

The barrel is standard Spyder threads, which gives you lots of barrels to choose from.

I got the gun as a gift, and since then, I've added a few parts. A new Smart-Parts Progressive barrel, an ACI Sub-zero expansion chamber, and a Psychoballistics Pro Drop Forward. The marker looks very custom.

And in 1000 rounds of paint over 2 days, it only broke 4 balls. Not too bad.

The Avenger and Revelation are the same gun. Click here to see proof.

The only difference is the Barrel, color and the number of screws in the bottomline, which are still cross-compatible, but if you use the Revelation, you just use the 2 diagonal screws.

Actually, the revelation has a volumizer. (look under the barrel, directly forward of the valve).

Of course, it doesn't make a big difference in performance.

It will help your gun operate a lower presure if you decide to go low presure and that is about it.
