i was looking into getting a delrin bolt for my shutter because i have heard it will reduce kick since its lighter, is this true?? i also like that i dont have to lube it or anything too.

Paintball guns does not have recoil!! if u fell recoil, your probally very weak!

Wrong. Paintball guns do have recoil. There is not a lot because the projectile is not very heavy, but there is one. Just shoot your compact with one hand and I bet you will feel it. All blowbacks have some recoil, it's just the nature of the design.

if you watch the gun while you fire it you can see it kick back, even angels have recoil or kick as paintballers call it.

The bolt will reduce the operating pressure of your gun a bit, and since LP reduces kick, it should help your kick. However, I don't think it'll help dramatically.

The only thing that causes kick in a paintball gun is how much weight is moving back and forth. Like in old VM68's, the hammer was friggin huge and high up, those guns had recoil like a pistol. But basically, making the parts that move back and forth lighter, like the bolt, will reduce recoil. It will noticably decrease it depending on how light your current bolt is..

yeah sorry theirs is racoil but just a bit, (i never noticed) anyway the recoil doesnt bother me so if i were u I wouldn't buy a new bolt
