the first time i ever played was like last winter. me and my two buddies built these snow forts in his front yard, so we had a triangular formation. at that time i didnt have a gun of my own, so my thoughful friend let me use his talon pump, he had a talon stingray at the time and my other friend had just gotten his shutter. anyways, we're just about to start and im takin some practice shots with teh talon. godammit those things suck. im like, oh boy im gonna get my *** kicked. then we started the game. all of us dropped down behind our lil snow forts and peeked around the side for open shots. then, i saw my friend, with the stingray, takin aim at the other guy. i pumped the talon, took aim and fired. via some miracle, the ball went right where i aimed it, 25ft away and hit him in the side of teh head. THE F*CKIN BALL BOUNCED. outta all the shots i took after that didnt come anywhere close to where i aimed it. i was sooo ripped.

umm.. in defense of the plastic wondergun known as the talon.. it may have been the fact that the paint was freezing cold that it didnt break... just a guess

ya but it would get alittle expensive 2 have 2 buy a new one every game. since they cant last more than one game without breakin.

The Talons do break pretty easy. I got one for free with my Spyder, and my dad shot it once, and when he pumped it, he broke the pump right off.

talons don't break that easy. One of my friends has had one for years, and dropped it off of his roof, left it out in the rain, thrown it around. They don't really break. Plus they're accurate....kind of. They just don't do the whole upgrade thing, and of course they're pump action. A pretty good first timer's gun though.
fred randle is right the have ok aim and mine hasn't broken yet but i stopped using it cause i got my spyder and there good for newb's
just my 2 cents

The gun wasn't new. The guy just gave it to me when I bought his old Spyder.

The Avenger can cycle at 20 bps. That doesn't mean that if you buy it you'll be able to pull the trigger that fast.

they should advertise it as a marker that can fire at a rof of 20bps though...it maybe able to cycle that fast but they no NOONE can fire it that fast

They probably should, but they don't. Get over it.

u can shoot 20 bps with a RT
theres no way u can shoot 20 bps the gun maybeey able to cycle that fast but u can not pull the trigger 20 times in 1 second even if its auto it would chop like hell.

ummm, if u used a spring loaded clip to load the paintballs, and used a response trigger (RT), u could hit 20bps.
i KNOW that if u use spring loaded clips, u dont get very many shots, but u could still get 20 bps.

With a RT you're still not pulling the trigger twenty times in one second.
