Whats the advantage to having a vertical feed - it looks like it would get in the way of your site rail even more ?

most vertical feeds have side site rails so you aim down the side not he top and the adavntage is easier feeding since the balls do not have to bend around a corner. most high end guns have them. also if you hav a revvy you can put the gun totally sideways parrallel to ground on BOTH sides and the revvy will shoot balls into the gun. on side feed guns you can only do that on one side.
Guesswho?

The site on vertical feeds are put on the side. A vertical feed helps out alot if you are trigger happy, im not so i dont really care about it that much.

Verticle feed doesn't do much for feeding rates, what it does do is feed better when snap shooting or just leaning out the side of a bunker.

It seems to reduce the chance of a chop, too.

Try shooting with your offhand using a powerfeed. Nice big target you're leaving out there

I like them because you dont need to buy a elbow.I dont care that much about site rails because im good at aiming with my gun

the vertical feed helps prevent ball chops (it doesnt stop them, it just helps out because the balls won't get jammed going around that bend) and it also helps out if you are snap shooting because you can be crouched sideways and still will be able to shoot.

it's main purpose is to give your gun a smaller profile. vertical feeds tend to have a slight advantage over powerfeed when it comes to feeding. but not that much.

yes, 100 percent of your hopper would stick out, and that's just very bad
