Okay heres the problem, a few of us are trying to start a team (3 people) now 2 of us are really the ones trying to come up with the name and such, the 3rd will pretty much go along with whatever we choose. Well anyways, we're trying to pick out jerseys and we're having some disagreements. Im getting a black/red/silver Nasty, hes getting a black/blue/silver AI .... and of course i want a red jersey, and he wants blue. what should we do ??


EDIT: OMG ... what am I going to do about captains !? :eek: :dizzy:

EDIT: As for captains you should co-captain...

uh, just go with green then. you guys arent going to decide anyway, so just get something that matches neither of you.

well... w/ a 3 man team, you need captain. So whoever has been doing the most for the team should be captain. Tell them that. If YOU have been organizing it, then tell them, "I should be captain i think, caus eI've been organizing it."

Other than that... red and blue jersey sounds good to me.

Ive been thinking, maybe black/grey jerseys, and colored masks/gloves to match our equipment. Hows that sound ? And the captain thing is going to be one hell of a dog fight. :(

Sounds like your teammates are a bunch of squabbling little momma's boys. Take charge of them punks and say "I'm your captain, if you don't like it, then leave!" Show initiative, hopefully they'll respect you for it, and if not, then they're immature. As for colors... well I could care less. :P

well in that case, REALLY take charge and flex a lot, and show them that you're beastly enough for the job.

no seriously, show leadership, and earn the respect of them. if they don't like it, get other guys to play w/ you.

Oh I guess that complicates things... :laugh: Vote on it. Though you'll all probably vote for yourselves lol. Have someone outside the team pick. This person who picks should be someone you all trust and you should all agree that this person has the final say.

Good idea.

Oh and about the silver/black colors. That's a good idea too, it'll look sexy! (if it were on girls, that is... being on guys, it'll just look cool)

Why not get both or neither. let me elaborate here's some options 1. get both color schemes but the same design, 2. get both two for each of you and alternate in case you play a team wearing similar colors you can just switch (more money but may be good if you play tourneys) 3. pick a color schem like gray or white that you all will wear.

And I disagree with those persons saying "tell em that your the captain and they have to accept it" a captain in a team is nothing more than a figure head and/or gives directions/makes calls during the game. to have a succesful and long lasting team it must be treated as a democracy.

lol heres another twist to throw at you. the one that wants the AI (and hes the one thats arguing, the other guy doesnt really care) has a proteus, and the 3rd guy has a proteus, now i want a red invision. I would be great if we could all get the color invisions that matched our equipment, but what should i do again ... lol. oh, and when you say to find some other teamates, there are NONE that are actually worth trying to have them as a good teamate. we have one makeshift speedball field (very very small town). Eventually im hoping to get a few more people on the team, but we need to get some of these things settled and get a style going in our play. We rarely get to play as a team, when we do its usually like a 3 vs 9 because we are the "better" players at the field and no one ever wants to 3 vs 3 us

I am usually the one yelling out positions and telling tem when to move and all, I dont play back, but I doubt they would want me as their captain. We're good friends and all but, it doesnt seem like they would want a younger captain.

anyways, the other guy is kind of .... "Im right unless you have all the proof in the world and i see it for myself to prove otherwise" type of guy.

If we were equally able to be captains, i would have no problem handing him the "C" patch, but he isnt :(

Yeah..!! I think that black, red (like burgundy) and silver would be the best, but if you guys can't agree, then do black and silver.

Yeh... you guys are going to have to have a long talk about the C patch and the A's too.

You have to realize you guys need to get along on and off the field or your team will fail. To do that? Compromise.

Choose, do you want to be the captain OR do you want to pick the outfits?

Let's say you choose captain. Walk up to him and say, "Hey man, you get to choose jerseys, pants, masks, cleats, everything." He'll say "Ok, that's more like it." Then you chime in "If I can be the captain."

Obviously, you can reverse that for the other decision. Regardless from there, compromise. If you bicker about every aspect of the team your team will fail, and you'll lose some friends. Don't do it!
