Well I bought a Pirahna BL Kinda like the vtl except with the bottom line adapter I also bought a venturi bolt hogue grips a Beaver tail sight with rear cocking guard an exspanision chamber and a taso pro barrel and soon I am getting a Smart parts big daddy 14" teardrop and the gun seems to shoot very well even stock it was great although a little loud.... You just have to make sure to buy decent paint I bought slam balls and they work awesome accuracy distance and no ball breaks however when I first bought it I only had the money to buy brass eagle balls and this gun hates brass eagle balls it hooks and curves and chews them to death...... but I was very impressed with the gun for it's price it's a great performer...

I gotta a Piranah STS G2 ... It's my first gun and I don't think I could've found a better marker for the price. It has received great reviews from Action Pursuit Games and other mags. Easy to field strip, easy to clean and shoots great.

Mike, I live in West Central Florida, right now the weather is chilly, too cold at night to shoot with CO2, but daytime play is OK.) I'm shooting medium size paint right now (PMI Premium and Gold). Also shoot Marbs (but they are a smaller bore and a little less accurate wtih the Medium bore STS stock barrel.) I'll probably stick with the Marbs when summer roles around and the humidity rises.

Yo
Yea, I've had some troubles, and been out of the "paintball scene" for a while. Bad grades =/ But, I remember the days when the forum had about 5 replys TOTAL. But, looks like you have been doing some serious work on the site. Looks quite good :)

Thanks!

I am going to adding a feature soon that allows anyone to suggest related links to the products!

So once I get that feature I'll try to remeber to email you so you can add your site to all the piranha guns!

Anyone ever experience gas blowing out the end of the Ram Air Chamber after connecting the tank? I've had this happen twice, and it wasn't because the chamber housing was not screwed on tight. The air blew through a hole in the end of the chamber. I checked the o-ring and it was OK. I've heard this is a common problem, but does anyone know how to correct it?

What kind of After Market Barrels and Expansion Chambers are y'all using on your Piranahs. Just curious. I'm thinking about a Smart Parts Progressive barrel. Haven't decided on an expansion chamber.

i shoot medium bore paint, and i use a CP barrel (.689) and it is great, no breaks straight, and good distance. For the money it is simply excellent. Look on page one of this thread for a picture of it.

Cool marker Psycho ... The red barrel is a Custom Products? and the other is a Smart Parts Progressive? (correct me if I'm wrong) How well do they work? I'm interested in getting a Progressive, but the local store has the CP for about the same price. Which one do you like better?

CP barrel looks better and shoots really well...however must go with otherone. Much more quiet and love the silence of it....

Gotta admit, Psycho, that CP barrel does look Primo ... But I think I'm gonna go with the Progressive when I get a barrel. Mainly, as you said, because they are supposed to be a very quiet barrel. My STS is already loud enough!

You may be right TL, It's had to tell without my glasses. After looking at the photo a third time, I think the Progressive has less porting and is a little longer (only comes in 12 inch size.)

I've got an STS, Zombie, and it shoots really nice too, even with CO2. But one day I'm gonna get that HPA tank I've been dreaming about! Right after the new barrel, expansion chamber, Raven goggles, ...

be carefull with raven goggles the dont cover much

MuckRaker
01-09-2001, 04:33 PM
The new Raven Nuvis is supposed to have more forehead protection and a visor. I've got a JT nVader now, which is good, but doesn't cover the throat well, so I got a wrap around throat protector. But I need a mask with a better field of view. Of course, that was just my "want" list which often varies greatly with what I can afford (my reality list).
