I really wanna get a bko now, but i just wanna find some stuff out first. Could you guys list some of the bad experiences you have had? I just wanna know what to expect if I get one. How reliable are they?
oh and btw, i dont wanna hear from people that "heard from a friend" or "saw in one of the reviews", only ppl that actually own one.
I really like my BKO and here are the problems encountered so far.
1) not a prob, but use N2 its much better for the marker
2) on the first batch the reg has a problem with the plunger and whne used with preset tanks in excess of 400 psi, solution: call ICD, I live in KY and they had the replacement plunger to me w/in 3 days and I replaced it in about 5 minutes. (new batch has this fixed)
3) barrel solution: get a new one CP, SP Boss Progressive, and J&J edge are all great options.
4) Ball Detent SUCKS. solution: I would suggest the macdev sonic detent to replace this one, any detent with cocker threads should work
5) Bolt can chop at high rates of fire but this only happened once solution: vapor bolt.
I know it sounds like I'm dissing the BKO, but this is ALL the problems I've had with mine, they are a great marker and I don't think they are entry level, they can keep up with anything out there with the right talent behind them. The marker and all the upgrades can be purchased at a great price at www.renegadepaintball.net (except the parts from ICD for the reg which if the marker is second batch you won't have to worry about, and the ball detent which is fixed on the second batch as well.).

That helps me out a lot SABO!
But, can i used a 850psi output tank on a second batch BKO?
Thanks

I do not personally know anyone with a second batch but ICD tech has said that the problem is fixed and they have the best of tech supports. My suggestion, order the BKO, call ICD that day and explain to them that you have the 850 preset tank and you need the plunger for the reg. You will probably get them both on the same day.
