A drop forward is usually a piece of metal that moves your tank forward about 2 to 7 inches.

It helps balance the gun better by puting the weight of the tank in the center of the gun.

If you're thinking of getting a drop-forward, I suggest the Psycho Ballistics drop-forward. I use it on both of my guns. It makes the gun seem half as heavy, and it makes it nice and compact. I can actually shoot accurately with one hand.
Someone tells me that you can get it on http://www.888paintball.com for $20. That's cheap for a big drop-forward, so I suggest you get it. You'll have to connect the drop-forward to your gun's air input, though, so be ready for that.

NP :D
One more thing, I looked into it a bit more, and it seems that there's more than one type of Psycho Ballistics drop forward.
Use the Psycho Ballistics Pro Style drop forward. It's the kind I have. I think it might be a wee bit more expensive, like $30 total. But it's worth it.
