Basically I feel that if there ever was a reason for violence it would be against someone who wiped.

I get aggravated with people who wipe, but even more so at the IDIOTS who've been hit, don't wipe, but refuse to call themselves out.

or the people who stand outside the lines, shoot you and then jump back in really quick. you know they were out of the boundary lines but they swear to the ref they werent!>:(

They can basically only wipe if they have like white paint or a light color that got them. If they got hit with a green or pink color paint its harder to wipe (I have seen people try.)

I kept getting aggravated with my friend, cause every time he got hit, he kept wanting to go get some more paint and come back in the round. I kept telling him that part of playing paintball is having to wait until the rounds over if ur hit, (kinda like counter-strike) but he still doesnt get it. Maybe hes impatient, maybe hes stubborn. Its still irritating having to argue with him. Back to the topic. Ive never wiped. Sometimes the paint fades on my pants and i cant tell if its from that day or not. If i didnt feel a hit and it looks really faded, then i stay in. But i bet that ive been hit a couple of times and its broken, smeared, and faded that i just left it and kept playing. But ive never intentionally known that ive been hit and stayed in the game.

Had a guy last week who wouldn't call himselve out, so I just kept shooting him. After four hits, he decided he should leave the field.
I just really don't buy into that argument, "I didn't know I was hit." I mean, C'mon, are you like totally nerve damaged throughout your body to the point you can't even feel the pressure of something slamming against you at 200 miles per hour??!!??

people that wipe make me sooooooo mad....it makes me want to just coverm them in paint so the ref sees them before they can wipe it all. unfortutely(however you spell that0 my field enforces th three hit rule.

Actually Muck, if you use the highest allowed fps (280) then it computes to 190.9 miles per hour not 200. :-D

when my grandparents asked me what i do in my spare time i told them i play paintball. they said what is that. i said its where me and alot of other guys shoot air powered objects at each other at over 175 mph. my grandpa just looked at me weird and then called me a dumba** and walked away. i know thats off subject but the mph thing brought it to my memory.:)

You're point ... We run 280. The extra 20 fps doesn't make that great a difference.

some guy at my field decided that his velocity wasnt high enough after he crohnied in so he decided hed turn it up when he got on the field. he hit somebody in the arm and they were bleeding! the ref chronied him and he was at 325! well he was banned for a month.

You gotta wonder what's going through the minds of these guys who LIKE to shoot hot or over shoot.
I can understand getting hit three times ... I usually shoot in three round bursts (no, I don't have an electro, I just pull the trigger fast, three times, then wait a second).
but someone who continues to shoot at you when that person knows you're out, well, that's just the sign of a sick mind. Same with these chumps who love to turn their guns up after they've chronoed.

I got hit with a ball that drew blood...and they did a crono check on the other team...they all lined up...and I was watching the smart a** with the angel...staying kinda behind everyone...as it was getting to be his turn I watched him take a couple of paint balls out of his hopper and stick them into the end of his barrel....he walks up to crono and fires one shot and looks at the ref and says..I don't ever shoot hot...I grab his barrel and put it back on the crono..and told him to fire again...345...they kicked him off the field....
with that kind of fire power ...why shoot hot???

that's the kind of crap that turns people off to paintball and helps give the sport a black eye ... It'd be like the linebacker not only sacking the Quarterback, but also stomping on him after he's down. Or in basketball, if the just before the slam dunk, you punch the guy in the nuts as he's leaping to the basket.
What's makes it worse, I'm afraid, is that a lot of newbies are afraid to tell the Refs when it happens, or they just don't know any better. Maybe they're afraid the guy with the hot gun will seek retribution on the field.
Me, I don't hestitate to tell the Ref ... someone shoots me hot, and I know who it is, I'm gonna do my damned best to get him ejected. Other sports don't tolerate cheaters, why should we??

My point was that someone said paintballs don't shoot at 200 mph. I was just saying they do at some fields..

yeah in MD, the indoor fields are chronoed at 250 and outdoor at 275-280.

what really pisses me off is when someone gets like a foot away from someone and says take a hit, but the guy, that was given a freebee on a nice welt, shot the guy in the buttox and and the guy had to leave b/c he said that the guy never said take a hit even though i was 30 ft. away and still heard him.

we have a 3 second rule. If he doesn't say anything by teh end of 3 seconds, you shoot him. If he makes ANY move that makes you think he's bringin his gun around to shoot you, you shoot him. I think that's pretty fair..

That's a good rule too ... At 10 feet or greater the Bunkee still has space and time to maneuver and try to shot the Bunker.
