I have a Stingray III've heard rumors that my gun won't be able to operate in cold weather. Is this true and if so will it hamper my play ability.

I have never heard ofamny guns that can;t work at all in cold weather. But i have a friend with a Stingray and he shoots it all the time in cold weather 20-30 degrees! It might shoot alittle sloppy and CO2 might not be steady but other thann that it will work im pretty sure
just try not to fire at a downgrade. If you install an expansion chamber and bottomline, remote, or all three, you should have no problems.

Yeah, I plan on makin one myself because they said that a bottomline adapter is clumsy and too expensive considering the easiness of building one yourself, is that true?

Its probably more to it than you think. I would buy one and install it. It would be hard as hell to make one yourself. For 20-30 dollars you might as well buy one.

Maybe, I'll probably try it first, I'm stubborn like that

U should just buy it. u can find a macroline kit for 8 dollars, and the bottem line adapter for another 8, dont try and make one, ull end up spending money for the materials and end up loosing money in the end. Besides, dont u need a lot of other equipmetn to upgrade to that because ur tank screws into the back of the gun, wont u need hoses and stuff all over the place, niot to mention an as adapter if u want to install an ex chamber? Or dd u p[lan on putting an ex chamber right where utr tan kused ot be and run a li e form there? I think upgradint to a bottmeline wil be a lot of work for ur gun, is it really worth it?

I really don thikn it is. If ur that invovled in the sport that ur considering all of these upgrades, its time for a new gun. Go with a spydr compact, that will beeasier to upgrade. Sell ur gun at a pro shop for like 70 bucks, and u can buy the cpomapct for like 85 on line, and get a new barrrel Ull save the 15 bucks in buying the adapter so it will even out. Ive palyed with mp879 before, and hes a really good player, and ive been trying to get him to go to a better gun, but lik he said, hes stubborn. Thtas jsut my 2 cents. He does play excelent with his stingray, but i think if he really wants to go to the next level of play, upgrading ur stingray is not the wya to go. Maybe a metal gun would help, lol

if you're as good as A damn FOol sez..it really is time to upgrade guns. I started out wiht a Stingray too..and i decided to move on. Upgrading stingray will really get you nowhere. GO for the Spyder or M98. THey are both great guns with high potential, without having to spend enormous amounts of money.
