This is gonna be my first gun that I'm gonna get...Which one is better...I read reviews but I wanna know which is better over the other...I'm looking for it to be light, quiet, and of course accurate.

Thanks

well they are basically the same marker by different companies. one is not going to be more accurate or quiter than the other because they are pretty much the same. its really up to which one you like better. . . (i personally like spyders better)

I say go all out and get a G3 Pro, It's LP off the bat, has a DF, good barrel, Get one and save time and money down the road, it's prolly one of the best deals around

I wouldn't get either. I would get either a Spyder Compact, or a Piranha VTL. They are base models, so you don't pay more for parts that you'll replace anyway.

neither. I would go with a tipp 98. they are great first guns. they are better quality ane will last longer and have a lot of upgrades. it would be cheaper, and with the extra money, you could buy paint, a tank, or a new barrel.

The parts on the g3 Pro aren't the best out there. You could buy a Piranha VTL vertical feed for about $90 and add these accesories for about the same price.

Piranha VTL-$90
Lapco Bigshot-$60
Used WGP reg off of someone's cocker-$30
Macro line Kit- $10
12 Volt Revvy- $50

That's $240 and it is a better set up than the G3 Pro. Plus, you would still have to add a Revvy and a new barrel to the G3 Pro.

say something like that again instead of "i recomend tippmans i think they have better quality " go ahead, see what happens

From my experiences, pirahnas are much better quality than spyders, although the pirahna is a spyder clone. And even though most of the pirahnas come with composite grip frames, the trigger feel is very nice. Although if you want to COMPLETELY trick out your gun, get a spyder. But, I feel pirahnas are much better guns stock. Its all up to you, though, they are both good guns. Just warning you if you get a spyder, tighten the grip frame screws REAL good because the grip frame tends to fall off after a few weeks, then you'll have to buy new screws. ;) I'm going to get a little pirahna vertical feed as a back up to my minimag, I don't want to use my ICD Alley Cat for spyder/tippmann class tourneys. Even though I'm sure that thing could get the job done :)

No, neither one of those guns blow. You are reccommending the gun that you own, which is fine, but you shouldn't knock a gun that you don't have just to try to say that yours is better. If you give me some real reasons why to get a Tippman instead of a Spyder or Piranha, then maybe I'll listen to you. Since I know that you can't, you're wasting everyone's time.

Actually, PMI came out with the first stacked tube blowback.

well, instead of the tl+ look at the xtra, much better for the price.

i like my spyder xtra and i like my bro's sts g3. if i had to choose which one again i would pick the spyder. after the upgrades and the trigger job it shoots better (much louder though) that my bros.

the things i like about the pirhana are: flush cocking, short trigger pull, light, quiet, great customer support.

so overall, i think you would be happier with the pirhana.

Dammit Super nick you took the words right out of my mouth :) Oh and you might have to add Turbo valve to and possibly dye stickys for more comfort..And you can do some home free mods like drilling the VA, custom trigger job, Sanding the valve pin etc..

I was trying to keep the price low, otherwise I would have suggested the Turbo Valve, a spring kit, and a new bolt.

You dont really need a new bolt just take out the venturi out of your stock bolt. He might not need a 12v revvy though, but then again he might, he'll need if he can outshoot his regular hopper but for now dont get the 12v revvy with 50 bucks you can get a turbo valve a spring kit and some dye stickys.
