I played my fist paintball game. It was so fun, i flanked my dad and lit him up, also some guy tried to make me surrender and I fell back and shot him 3 times! I had the best time, and today I just got a job so I will be able to play more often yay!

Well I have played once before but that was a year ago. See I was having a Paintball birthday party. Everyone else was using rentall equiptment, except me, my paintball gun was my birthday present. I got a spyder xtra. Oh and I did have the advantage, because for the past 3 months I have been reading everything possible about paintball... It actually did help on the field a LOT, I mean I was the only one not making newbie mistakes, sure, I probably made a few, but I wasn't afraid of being hit at all, I stayed tucked in, I moved up with my team (well usually they wouldn't move up with me but thats beside the point) I had the best time! Well actually I have the best time snowboarding, paintball dosn't give me a huge adrenalin rush for some reason :( It did when (last year) it was my first time and I knew nothing about paintball... But I do know SO much now, i mean you wouldn't believe how much time I spent down here on the computer reading everything possible about paintball. Also the past 2 days I've been working my butt off doing chores and now I finally have enough money for the 4 pod dye attack pack :)!!! I also got a job that pays minimum wage so I will be able to purchase paint and play every week (well almost every week, I'm thinking about once every 2 weeks, so I can make some cash and not just make it then spend it at the end of the week, I mean, i could go for 3 months without playing paintball, then I could have lots of money, buy a nice gun, or a go-cart or something, I dont know this money I've been hearing so much about is opening up all these new possiblility's that usually only my mom would/could pay for, therefore they only came around once a year) sorry I hope no one actually read all that, I mean if you did, you would really have to either, be a stalker, or be extremely bored :).

ya when i was lookin for a hobbie to get into my dad suggested go kart racing. then i found that it is even more than paintball! you have to get new tires every 4 races because they burn the tires fast (i was lookin to get into racing) and thats like $200 every month or 2. than you have to pay to get in the race and the go kart it self! i think paintball is way more fun and its not as much money. i did the same thing as far spendind time on the comp researching stuff, heck i still do! now its more reading about guns and spending time on forums though.

Yeah same here, now I'm trying to learn about how the gun works and stuff, though I'm actually afraid to take mine appart :O
I've allready read everything possible about tactics and stuff... and basically its the same things over and over, so they get engraved into your head. Now I just read these forums and study the blue-prints and read about how different guns work.

Spyders are the definition of simplicity when it comes to internals. Dont be afraid to take it apart, it's easy
