I was told by someone that their is no such thing as a red fill in paint. I have never seen one but im still skeptical. He told me there isnt because it would look to much like blood and paintballing isnt about killing people. i have never played a sceinario but from the looks of it everyone is trying to get their guns as "military style" as they can so why not make "scenario paint", just like "tournypaint" and like sell 'em in like 4000 rnd cases or somthing since so much paint is usally used. It could probably like have a red fill to look like blood or somthing like that i dunno.

i think your friend got a bit confused, the thing is that you cant use red filled paint in tourneys.

And most fields disallow red-filled paintballs. I don't understand why people would use red. You won't look any cooler, and it might put people at risk.

If there was a real accident, and the refs didn't kno if it was just the red paint or the blood, that player wouldn't get the medical attention that he/she needed immediately.

On top of that, It's not a good image to have red soaked paintball players walk out of the woods.

Red also tends to stain more than most colors.

how many times have players needed medical attention..?
if your following the rules... you probably never will bleed... unless your bunkered... and then its not that much blood...

But wat if it happened? You can't just assume paintballing is a non-accident sport. If people do get injured, how are u gonna tell? Think about it on a ref's point of view. You can't assume they're not injured because statistics say so.

hmmm if they`re injuryed enoth to need medical attention i`m gonna think they`ll be more then justing bleeding. such as being knocked out. crying. ur elbow sticking out from the skin. if some1 just bleeds thats not an injury and i think u`d be able to put some anti-bacteria stuff on it urself

But how can u tell if the bone is sticking out if there's red paint all over it. The bone isn't perpendicular to the arm. It's slightly raised, depending on how bad the fracture is. Or if someone was shooting hot, and it ripped some kid's skin open. Refs look for the slightest hint of someone injured, and if he sees red everywhere, he won't know from a bleeding child on the floor to a person that was laying on the floor hiding and has been hit. U've got to look at it from a ref's point of view.

if there a big old pointy bump sticking out of the arm with the person screaming in pain. its not hard to tell.

the person laying on the floor wouldn`t be crying or screaming in pain. if a guy was bleeding on the floor he be yelling at the ref for help, not asking if he was out.

i`m tired of argueing, u r over all right anyways.

There are too many things a ref has to do even more if redpaint was played. He wouldn't be sure all the time if someone was injured or not.
