I am in the process of trying to purchase a new marker. It will be my first one and i'm trying to make the right decision. I am leaning towards the 32 degree's Tippmann model 98. On the site it sounds like a really good gun but it has benn proven hard to find info on this particular marker. If anyone has som information on my Hopefully soon to be marker, it would be greatly appriciated if you could get back to me as soon as possible, thank you

WTF? 32 degrees Tippman 98? Alright its called a Tippman model 98 / 98 custom. 32 degrees is no where in there. Its a good gun, can't go wrong. My only complaint with it is its a bit long. Slap on a drop forward and you're in business. I just sold mine... great gun just not my style. Theres gotta be like 100 reviews on this here website.

First of all,
Thead -- wow, you are apparently a WAY bigger newbie than even me. Why don't you check out the 32 Degrees Model 98 on THIS website? Go to Semi Guns and look under 32 Degrees. WOW! There it is! Go to http://www.pbreview.com/400/1/0/ to see it, or even go to the 32 Degrees website and look at it:

You should know what you're talking about before you give any info.
The 32 Degrees Tippman Model 98 is a newer version of the gun. It has more upgrades. White Knight is just wondering if it is any good.

Wow, I doubt you'd be dissapointed with that gun...just a bunch of good additions to an already great gun. Wow that paintjob is slick. :)

In my opinion, that gun is WAY overpriced. You'd be spending a whole lot of money on a mid-range semi while you could be getting a high-end semi.
The AutoCocker is probably the best semi-automatic gun in paintball right now. At http://www.paintballgeeks.com you can get the 2001 cocker for $335 shipped to you. Those things will shoot better with a stock barrel than any tricked out Model 98.
A word of warning; the AutoCocker is not a toy. Aside from cleaning it, don't mess with the front pneumatics, or the trigger. You can mess it up if you don't know what you're doing. It's really easy to clean and operate, and you don't need to do anything past that. It will also run on CO2 fine. You don't need an expansion chamber for it, and the only upgrades I suggest are a 12 volt Revolution hopper and a new barrel (like an All-American).
If you don't want to spend that much money, PLEASE, stay away from that 32 degrees gun. It's ridiculous. I think the Model 98 is the best gun under $300. If you don't want a cocker, get a Model 98. Upgrade it to how you want it. These are the upgrades I suggest:
1. Get a new barrel, like an All-American or a BoomStick. DO NOT get the Flatline; you can only use that barrel for the woods.
2. Get an expansion chamber kit.
3. Get a reactive trigger.
4. If you're chopping paint, get a 12 volt revolution hopper.
That's all the stuff you need to get a really ******ed gun. In reality, the Model 98 works fairly well without any upgrades. I'd get the barrel, and the expansion chamber when you can afford it. The other stuff is just nice to have if you want it. Please follow my advice; I know what I'm talking about and I want you to have the best equipment.
