I play that all the time, here we call it Gettysburg. For the obvious reasons since you load the balls one, by one, by one. I love that scenario so much, it's challenging, fun, and just a fascinating way to play the great game of paintball.

When you do that where do you keep the paint? I imagine you pick them out of a pot, right?

I keep the paint in the breast pocket of my ghillie suit, or when I am just messing around and stuff and not too serious about winning. I just have it in my SuperTube and just take one out one by one. It sounds difficult to juggle the paint, gun, and tubes. And sometimes it is. Then again, this just adds to the enjoyable challenge of the "Gettysburg" scenario.

I call it Civil War Style...it is neat, i use my harness to hold my paintballs, it is more realistic, b/c back when, they had bags on the side and grabbed the bullets out of it, so that is what i do.

yeah thats exactly wat we call it over where i play at. ive only tried it once tho i used tubes tied with a rope. its hard as hell to kill someone in that game. but its really fun i recommend everyone to try it.

could you take the ball stop thing (the thing you use to keep the ball from rolling out of the barrel) and load the balls one by one down the barrel.

Yeah, like everyone else said it's called civil war style. It's great to play when you're running low on paint (like at the end of the day. You can usually just put the paint in a pocket because you don't need to carry too much on you!

You could do this, but it wouldn't be as accurate, and if you tipped your barrel forward, the ball would roll out. I've not this with gum balls (loading them into the barrel)
