Impulse Shocker threds=same?

Are the impy and shocker threds the same???

The old impulses had the shocker threads but then the newer ones have a new thread its just impulse thread which is different than the shocker thread.

i believe older impulses take "cut down shocker threads" - could be wrong, but newer ones (i think 5k+) have there own threading....

The answer I think you are realy looking for... NO you can not use shocker barrels on an impulse. The early pre-relese Impulses had the same thread pitch, but the back of the barrel is almost an inch shorter- so even on those guns you could not use shocker barrels.

At this point, I honestly think you'll find about every major barrel maker making Impulse threads- some of which don't even make the shocker threads!

one wierd thing though, goto action village and take a look for impulse barrels, about the only thing u can find is the allamerican or the freak..... unless epbo has them, all.... :eyes: - are you buying them all up?? :crazy:
