Yes, but gives me an excuse to post.
I use a 4 down pack. Each tube holds 140. What ever happened to the days when they called pods "guppies"? hahaha

I use 1 pod but have a 4 pod harness. I dont waste paint like my friends so my pods are at their disposal. I play woods by the way and my friends (and especially my brother) waste a LOT of paint.

i have an extreme rage 4 vert pack. i start the game with 100 rds in my hopper then reload once and use like half of what i put in when i reload. before i got my harness i would top off my hopper then shoot it all then call out when im out of paint hehe

now, that sounds like a newbie... don't call yourself, act as a diversion/decoy for your teammates... while they try to shoot you, your teammates sneak around and bunker them.

i personally use 4 when i play up front, but when i play mid or back i carry a full load of 7 + a football (which is two), and a full hopper.

I dont use pods because i dont have a harness, if i use more than rounds in a 5 minute speed ball game then i need to go off. I can only about 1000 round each time i go out so if i use 400 round my day is almost half over.

only a full hopper is necessary (that is with my mag i dont know when i get my shocker) i have a 4 pack with 150 round tubes

Whatever happened to the days when Guppies were little fish you put in an aquarium ... Oh well, I use four 120 round JT speed pods. I want to get the extenders, so they hold 140 or 150.

I never bothered to buy 140 round tubes, although I should have.

I always used those VL 100 tubes. I bought a 4+1 and filled it up every time I went onto the field, until I realized that I NEVER use more than 2 tubes at the most during a game.

These days, unless it's a big game, I don't even carry any tubes out onto the field. I'm trying to favor "quality over quantity." Believe me, I'm not doing this to become a better player. I'm just a college student who can't afford paint :D

Ideally, I'd buy one 140 round tube, and just carry it onto the field. I've played against some guys from team Strange, and that's how one of them did it. He didn't even wear a pack, he just had his gun in one hand and the tube in the other. He just carried it with him when he ran, and set it on the ground when he arrived at a new bunker. I'm sure it's just personal preference, and that's why he did it that way, but I thought that was the smartest method I've seen. Anyway, someone on a world cup NPPL team can't be wrong, right?

I carry four 140's in a custom Indian springs harness that I cut in half and attatched to an army LCII strap system (belt and shoulder straps).

I just got a new 32 degrees 5 pack I haven't used yet. It's modeled after the Redz packs with teh back belt and changebale harnesses....At half the price.

Speed/Hyperball: Hopper, 4 tubes if I'm up front, 6 as snowman

really im the opposite... i use more for rec than for tourny ball... im very conservative on shots... but i manage to hit at least 1-2 guys in tourny scrimage. while rec, i can go through 7 + a football in like 2-3 games, and manage to only hit 2-3 out.

have you seen some of the traumahead videos... it looked like back players in the video carry 14 guppies on their back.... unique paintball makes harnesses that can carry 20 guppies... but its like custom order.

You guys are mean, you didn't leave room for those of us who are sooooo good we don't need any pods, like myself for example *cough* i'm stupid *cough* i kick a$$ w/o any pods cause i only shoot at what i can kill, i guess deer hunting has its advantages and disadvantages, you kill stuff in one shot, but your aim sucks when you start PBalling and you have to adjust for the curve of the ball.

I prefer hopper ball (for speedball). You fill your loader with 200 rounds and that's all you get. That way, people who like to just flap on the trigger run out of paint and lose.

I prefer to include "smart use of paintballs" in with the strategy of playing. I don't object to a well used burst of rapid fire, but they should be used sparingly.

Hopper ball helps even out the playing field, in my opinion. Unfortunately, I seem to be in the minority on this opinion. Most people want to shoot 1000 rounds per game rather than move to a different bunker for a better shot.

i agree with cp use paint smart and there wont be a hole in your wallet and then you can actualy buy upgrades to make your gun so accurate you wort need hardly any paint

I think that the sport would be much better if they always limited people to a hopper and maybe 100 extra rounds. The spray 'n pray crap gets on my nerves.

I use a Redz 2.1 Dimension, but I don't usually use the middle elastic one. That's still about 500 rounds, and we play 2 games before returning for paint and air. I've used the second pod twice. Once when the lid wasn't on the first pod very well (don't you just love dropping 150 marbs in your bunker?), and once when I was holding off two people while another guy on my team flanked them.

I usually have 8 in an old Rhino harness that I picked up in England. 8 plus a 114ci. I really like the suspenders on my harness.

And I've gone through all of them in 10 minutes of a 3 on 3 practice.

I've decided to get rid of my 4-down harness. I don't shoot that much. I just top my hopper and carry one tube with me. After the breakout when I find my bunker I just keep the tube by the bunker until I have to move again. I hate getting shot on the harness..
