Hi yah I've got a m98 with flatline and iv'e decided that I'd rather have a cheaper barrel than the flatline cause I'm more of a front player. I can get the amount I paid for the barrel and I was wondering if I should keep the flatline or get something like a carbon fiber or Armison stealth.

I know but it cost me alot of money. I haven't tried it yet but I know I play up front. If I try it It will bring the reasale value down.

See if you can exchange it with someone. I like Lapco barrels and DYE Alumminums :)

Flatline is a terrible barrel. I would go for a cp barrel or something...you might be able to trade with another M98 owner if they give you some cash.

the bore size is to small to support various paints, just get a teardrop

get 32 degrees terminator ... nice barrel. Hmm let's see what else... I never really considered a tippmann to be a good front player marker considering it's size... but whatever suits you is fine with me. Sell your flatline if you do front..

Yah I do play front and if you update your marker well enough you can make a 98 a gun you can use up front. I've pretty much decided on the armson stealth, but thanks guys.

Armson will break alot of paint if not sized perfectly. I'd go for a 10 inch cp.

I own a MiniMag and a Model 98 with a Flatline. Trust me on this, you need to sell the Flatline. I only own the Flatline for woods play. I NEVER recommend it to anyone who ever plays speedball.

I suggest you sell it on Ebay (you can get over $100 for it new there) and buy a Smart Parts All-American, or a CP, or a Lapco BigShot.
