Well, my honest opinion is that the shocker and intimidator are the best paintball guns in existance. Jorynn Race has an intimidator, C4pyro has a shocker... excellent markers..

You said you were thinking intimidator? Well, I don't think you could make a better choice. They are very light, have awesome rate of fire, fun fire modes, anti-chop eye, and man do they look sweet.

Race was shooting his the other day, the accuracy was incredible! with the stock barrel even! As long as you run it of air/n2, you're fine. very nice gun.

oh yeah.. also knew a guy who had an angel lcd... the accuracy paled in comparison to other guns, especially cosidering the price. He ended up selling it for a Shocker.

I don't think i've ever recommended an Angel, too expensive for what you get... heck for that price, it should eliminate the opposing team and hang the flag!

Again good choice... The Kapp cockers, are probably the best cockers for the price... very very nice...

Hey flash or anybody living here in calgary please help. Like i was mentionning i want a Timmy. now MR.Paintball well quotes me 1400$ right? ok now i have found 3 more canadian stores that have it in stock for 1199.99. I called richard and told me he wouldn't change the price on it because in case anything goes wrong with it they will fix it, da da da, blah blah. but in terms of me don't you think its kind of unfair not to match other peoples prices? i mean i understand the labor that may come with it but another 200? does it justify. another thing timmies sell for around 689-725 us dollars thats only 1081.73-1138.25 without shipping (usually 30bux us). i would understanding you know putting the little bit extra and purchase at 1200 right but again 1400? duties can be ignored depending who sends the gun to you (long story). But help me out guys. Im not trying to bash or flame anyone or anybody, i just need to figure things out. thanks

They won't price match? That SUCKS! I thought they did price match! I expected a lot more from a paintball store like them! Heck the owner is on Bob Long's Ironmen, so I can gaurantee that he gets the Initimidator and other such Bob Long products for a lot less than anyone else in Canada!

Every reputible paintball store in the country price matches!

You have two choices:

1. Buy from M.R. But only do this if they guarantee to fix it if you buy from them.. get it in writing or something.. an what does "fix" include, free labour? Discount on parts.. at the very least free labour.

2. Buy from someone else. If it does need repair, you can take it in to M.R. and pay them to fix it.

It is a gamble. What is the likely hood of an Intimidator breaking down? I don't know. How much does M.R. charge to repair guns?

The fact that they won't price match still boggles the mind!

ya flash i agree. every reputable bussiness out there should price match another store IF necessary in order to compete with others but the thing is that im not asking 1100 like the states have it at but a more than fair 1200$ to have the same as everyone else here in calgary. i called unno the Capture the Flag guys, he quoted me 1200 as well but was gonna get it next week's shippment. now when i talked to richard bout this he asked me if any other stores had it in stock and i said YES, some in newfoundland and even ontario but yet HE DOESN'T. again im not trying to be mean or flamer, because i love the store in my opinion the best in calgary but because it is such a high end gun that matching it would only be normal. the likely hood of one breaking? not much... from what i have heard. and even if it did there is a bunch of people who own this gun and that are willing to help me out if i had questions or problems unno. but again im still going to wait UNTIL Mike gets back from Chicago next week and discuss. Im sure that he will help me out. PLUS i work for Nexen and i took 20 people on the field last week and intend to do it again soon. so its big bussiness for him as well. PLUS all the freakin paint i get is silly. hehe..... 3 cases at a time. anyways i still would like input from you guys. Thanks again

Again.. i'm not bashing M.R. either. They are good, but maybe it depends on who you talk to?

Thats weird, man. REALLY weird.... cuz when I was originally going to get an Impulse, Richard, or **** as I like to call him, price matched it with the ones Badlands sell. So to hear that he WON'T price match the intimidator is ludicrous. Completely.

He was also quite nice aobut it when I changed my mind from the impulse to the intimidator.

I also have NO doubts that if something goes kablooie on my intimidator, they will fix it; no problem.
I asked what was included in the warranty: Lifetime labour, and 90 days parts. But with the intimidator, maybe they do something extra for parts. Like free replace on o-rings and junk (maybe?). I mean come on.. you pay $1400 for a gun and they don't do something a little extra for ya? PULEASE...
On another note, I HAVE heard of various people having problems with there intimidators on some forums.. but then again.. only ppl with problems are posting them, not ppl without them... so there ya go.

I suggest waiting for Mike, cuz Richard can be a dink. I bet he's a racist son of a ***** too.... mormons!

a quick update on my situation. (as if you cared). anyways, i talked to mike and guess what? no price match. but he did give me 100 more than others which is not bad, but i will need written proof for parts and labor for free he said. and still no gun until next week, color? orange to yellow fade. macdev gladiator reg and he said he's gonna do a low pressure mod on the gun. how hard is it to do? well its free anyways. im gonna also use my own 68/4500 AA apoc. so total around 1500. so what do you guys think?? please let me know.

uh... sorry for dropping off... I had to take my computer in for a week (since the damn thing broke)... and have been real busy, what with getting my army/university crap together. I guess I shoulda made this post in August, when I come back from basic training (and will actually be able to play)... but since I should be rakin' in the Tax Payer's hard earned money over the summer, I should have plenty of cash to get a new gun (maybe a semi, or something)... got any suggestions withing the $300-450 cdn range?? And actually, I was kinda looking into getting a sidearm, since I actually like pump alot... suggestions?

Plasma...the lp mod just makes your gun operate at a lower pressure. LP=low pressure....so its alittle quieter and you can use more brittle paint....
