Good choice. I dont see why everybody loves the Bigshot either. I like the stealth nice and quiet and very accurate. I didnt know any barrel came in a 13 inch.

Oh, i forgot to mention my reccomendation. I say get a J&J 2 peice (i love J&Js) because it is the same as a boomstick and costs as much as a Stealth.

I would suggest the J&J ceramic, just as quiet and accurate as the stealth but much cheaper.

well, three of my friends have very nice barrels on theirs
j&j ceramic- very good, very accurate and pretty quiet, he has it in 12"
Stealth- he has it in 16", the quietest of the three, and the most accurate (not cause of the length)
Dye Stainless- the worst choice of the 3, but dont tell him i told u that, but a grand improvement over the stock. he got it new for 70
i would get the ceramic since u can get it for 40 or 50, the stealth if u have 80 bucks to spend on a barrel, but not the Stainless, i'de rather get 2 j&js in different lengths

I do have 80 bucks so I'm gonna go with the stealth from what I've heard the only thing bad about it is it is hard yo clean. What kind of paint does your friend with the stealth use.

well, he uses high quality paint. i know he use PMI Premium a lot, and he is getting a case of Marbs. RPS or PMI should be good

The problem with the Stealth is it only uses small bore paint, which means you may be forced to buy expensive paint, like El Tigre, or All-Star. It's HARD to clean when you get a bust because of the internal porting.
Here's my suggestions:
In the $50 range :
1. CP 1-piece barrels - These things have been impressing people left and right; they give tournament level performance in a value priced barrel.
2. Lapco BigShot - These things are just a bit loud, but they shoot like a million bucks.
Upper end barrels:
1. Smart Parts All-American - A longtime favorite of the pros. I don't like the BoomStick, and this is the barrel I recommend the most. I think it's the best performance AND value.

Correction... The Stealth is a medium bore, .688, I do plan I spending alot of money for paintballs I won't buy some crappy BE stuff that would break in that barrel.

it depends what u mean by expensive, u can get 2000 PMI Premium for $45 at xpaintball.com or bbtpaintball.com
and the problem about cleaning the stealth is it is hard to clean the porting

...and I won't have to clean the barrel in the middle of a game unless I buy some crappy paintballs.
