Heya i just got my ND Blade trigger and now i outshoot my impy and it stops shooting when i rip on it ( which i do alot cause i got a fast trigger finger.) Can you guys give me soultuions of what i can do that makes my impy keep up with me. Its not the hopper its the gun. As far as i know only way would be to get a "turbo board" for the gun or the vision eye cause supposedly that makes the gun max rof 20 something. But my question is are there any other solutions besides those. i really dont want to control my rof a a slower rate .... 1 more thing to worry about during a tourney. Thanks for the help. :)

I don't think your Impulse is stopping on you because you are shooting to fast. My guess is that you have your trigger set up wrong. Unless I miss my bet, you have the trigger se so it fire very close to the start of the pull. This is one way of inducing "trigger bounce" (which is realy fast shooting) The problem is that when you adjust the trigger this close, often it won't return all the way to reset the trigger-- end result no "fire"

I would suggest you try loosening up the trigger a bit and see how it works then.

alright ill try that , but i dont think its that , so say if i am right and it is the board what are my options. Oh and where can i find this new "uncapped" cricket board iv been hearing about.

I belive mipaint is right. I have an eclipse blade and it used to skip on me all the time during me tring to rip on it. It did this cuz i tried to set the trigger too short. It also could be that your hopper insnt fast enough for your fingers. I moved from a 12 revy X to a halo cuz of that. I know this sounds not ot your likeing but lengthen your set screw for the length of the pull a tad. I diddnt wanan do this either, but it was that or risk haveing a clear kill and my gun not fireing. It will still be plenty fast. WHo knows maybe after the adjustment you Rof will increase.

a doubt very much our are ripping out 14 a second with ease on your Blade dude, and plus, if your gun is all stock besides the trigger it wont cycle as smooth or easy as it could. A delrin bolt with help it cycle faster, and a New hammer and shaft could aswell. You really have to try hard to get 13+ on the impulse with a Blade, so it's not that. Also your battery could be low, if it is low, it will shoot a bit, then stop. Replace battery, and see what happens.

Also i think Fom is right, for one i have had that problem aswell. Simply, sometimes more is less and less it too much.

I shoot faster then 13bps

i have delrin bolt and ti pull pin

it only stops when i rreally start to rip on it like crazy usually in the begginging.

oh and please dont read it as me giving an attitude im just stating the facts. and i do shoot faster then 13 so please dont say i dont.

Yea i would def try a faster hopper, They say your supposed to use locktite on the screws cuz if your like me and u love to have the shortest pull physicaly possiable then all u have to do is look at the trigger the wrong way and the gun fires. If the screws arnt locktited then they will move on you. I dont blame anyone for not locktiteing them cuz then its a pain to break the locktite and set them again. But hey lemme know how it goes.

it says in the instructions to loctite them. its not so much that we dont think you can shoot 13+ but it's the fact that you can let off five shots and then have it stop. If you shoot 13bps in smooth streams with equal space behind them then great. But most people jerk it around and can start off shooting wicked fast, and then their gun's can't keep up. If you shot two shots wicked fast it might not beable to keep up. I know for a fact on my impulse i can walk the trigger, and wave it. I did a SOund bite with no air, with the clicks and i did 13. If i do what i do to make that, my impulse wont let me get three shots off because it goes to quick in a since too soon.

Do u still have to locktite the set screws if u have the ND blade trigger?

if the set screws on any adjustable trigger move easily, they should be loctited to prevent them from moving while playing and "unadjusting" your trigger.

here is what i read from wolverines FAQ.."The set screws in this trigger have already had something put on them to prevent the set screws from backing out....yes that is correct, set the trigger and go, no need for loc-tite."

dude,

That quote is totally out of context. How does anyone really know if there set screws are already coated? And even if they already have loctite on them, it doesn't mean that they haven't worked free of it from constant use/adjustment.

The fool proof way is to see how easy the set screw moves. If it moves with little to no effort, use some loctite. If it resists adjustment, none is needed.

Problem is you quoted the wrong trigger.

The Eclipse Blade trigger does NOT come with loc-tite on the set screws so you need some.

The New DeSignz Flat trigger dos come with loc-tite on the set screws so you do NOT need any.

If it's what I think it is... It would be a small reddish brown dot of teflon type melted plastic that had been dripped onto a very small portion of the threads.

Again just one little drip of a dot. However that's all it takes to impede a set screw from "backing" out.
