i'm going pb-ing tomorrow...so prepped my stuff tonite...but the thing is...i turned on my compressed air tank..and it started leaking out the barrel, the thing is...it didnt do that this afternoon when i fired a bit through it, but...now it sounded like it was leaking in an un cocked position, but when i cock it, it stops, so i tried some oil in the valve, but guess what...no more air in the tank...but the tank had near 0 psi in it when i tried...could the low tank pressure cause it to leak out the barrel?

there is absoultly nothing wrong with your gun

with 0psi in your tank it dosent have enough pressure to push the pin in the valve and the rear bolt back enough to close the valve so it just goes out but it does have enough power to push only the pin back, if you get a full tank it will not happen until it goes empty agian but even then it wont hurt your gun

Same thing happened when I put in a near empty CO2 bottle in my remote. Just like Grayfox said, nothing wrong with your gun, just doesn't have enough pressure to do its magic.

actually it was the RVA..it was pushing the hammer onto the valve and releaseing a bit of air when uncocked :) thanx for the help though :)

This is why you are instructed while gassing up your marker to cock it. This is expecialy true on markers with light valve springs. Or low presure markers.
