Need help and advice for souping up my spyder, sorry if I spelled souping wrong, there are some people in forums that take it upon themsleves to critique and sound smart in everything they say. (one of my pet peeves)

For any tricked spyder, you should have an expansion chamber, a new trigger frame, a new barrel, a Revolution hopper, and a drop-forward.
Or, a better option is to sell it, and buy an AutoCocker for $325 from http://www.paintballgeeks.com
The only thing you need for a Cocker is a new barrel, and even the stock barrel is more accurate than a Spyder with a $120 barrel.

Cockers are nice but most people who paint ball like up grading it gives your gun a more personal feel. Ide reccomend getting a new barrel that will have the most effect. then ide invest in an expansion chamber. though a new grip never hurt

Go low pressure.
Get the following...
New Barrell (dye Boomstick, sp AA, or any other)
New Bolt (aka lightning)
New Valve (aka tornado)
New springs (madman)
New trigger frame (not really nessescary but get a eLCD if you do)
New Regulator (Vigilante for Nitro Plamer Stabilizer for co2)
New Low Pressure Chamber (AKALMP's, KAPP's, Shocktech's...)
New vertical adaptor (akalmp)
nitrogen tank (WDP A.I.R. 68ci/4500pis)
Of course this is the most expensive setup, the nitro tank would be over $550 right off the bat. But if you have money...

EvilCrayon (great name, by the way), Cockers are MUCH more upgradeable than Spyders. You can customize them any way you want, and in infinitely more combinations than you can to a Spyder. They are the most customizeable guns you can buy. That's why there's so many different types, like the Mark II and III, the Black Magic, the STO, the Dark Cocker, and countless others.
All I was saying in that last post is that a stock cocker shoots better than a tricked spyder. You don't HAVE to upgrade it because it's great when it comes stock, but you can if you want.
