i was playing last sunday and my freind's dad let me use his 2001 angel lcd for a couple games. i am now hooked on electros. i was wondering if the e-bolt is really worth it, or should i just save up a little more and buy a bushy. i know the e-bolt kit is electro numatic so its beter then the sear tripper kit thats out there, but is it beter to just buy a new gun. also can the e-bolt kit be used with a drop forward.

actually the ebolt is worth it. ive heard nothing bad about them, so dont blow hundreds of dollars just cause u want a cocker or whatever like everyone else has. be original. dont be a sell out.

You've probly never used the e-bolt, so why did you come in hear and waste everybodys time.
I personaly haven't used the e-bolt either, but I know a few things. 1)It actually replaces the internals, so its a fully electro-pnematic marker 2)It can run on low pressure 3)Many people will tell you it's pointless to put so much money into a tippman. screw them, do what you want. Also, this is pbreview, look at the reviews of the e-bolt.

so quit wasting everyones time u stupid idiot
in my opinion i would get something a little more compact with a low profile. if i were you i would look at a bko or impulse or something. now this is just my opinion, and i understand an impulse is dramatically more expensive than a bko ($200). but its your opinion. i have only heard good things about the e-bolt too. but you can't believe everything you hear. if you really want it, i say go for it and be original. but if all you want is an electronic marker you can get a bko (check the reviews on it, or go to tantrum (http://www.tantrumpaintball.com) to get an idea on prices, they are authorized and want a lil more than other places) or something similar that isn't a whole lot more expensive. just remember that you will still keep that tippmann quality with the e-bolt. :) and besides that, if you know tippmanns you might as well stick to em. all in all thats both sides. so its up to you... :) id compare prices and look around, test out products, etc. you might even look at a response trigger... that is a lot cheaper...

I didn't pay 200 or how many dollars for the ebolt, but I might have after seing the affect on my tippy. It makes your tippy electro-neumatic and it has a second reg in the kit. There are some cool firing modes, but u can still rip like crazy on semi. It runs excellent on hpa and I bet can is the best way to make your tippy shoot faster in any situation (response trigger isn't allowed at many fields).
wow, i didn't know that some fields won't let you use a response trigger. you know of any reasons why?

Yes, I think the ebolt is worth it. Compared to any other upgrade it is worth every cent (trust me, I've tried _every_ upgrade).
Yes, it's expensive, but it does so much for the marker. Reduces kick, dramatically increases consistency and efficiency, plus it's lots more fun for scenario play.
I do, however, strongly recommend the Ballistic Sports EM98 kit above the GTA (Genuine Tippmann Accessories) kit. Normally, I am hardcore about using GTA parts, but the EM98 is truly superior.
EM98's are far easier to program on the fly, while playing. They have tourney locks and more fire modes. The only drawback is that the LP reg isn't as cool looking as the GTA one, but anyone using a non-standard ASA airsource (like me with my Air America tank) can't screw into the Tippmann kit anyways.
Watch eBay, buy an EM98 kit for less than $220.

The response trigger can be set to a mode where if u adjust it the right way and hold ur hand on the trigger it is full auto. people say that your finger is actually moving, but it is really just the blowback that sends the trigger into your finger and your finger (without moving) kicks it back. Most places let you use it on a lower setting, but some wont let u turn it up at all. It is still a damn good idea (it passes most full auto tests, because if you pull the trigger hard, it only fires one), but it also decreases acuracy and adds blowback.
wow, i've never noticed my friend having any probs with his response but it might just be our luck in our area... then again that local luck can work both ways because we don't have any paintball shops that will fill nitro/compressed air. :(

I play at a field called paintball junle and they made my friend turn his response all the way to the lowest setting, so all it had was blowback.

kinda off topic...
wait up...the jungle makes ya turn it down? i play at sherwood, and they are ok with it...and i havent been able to sweetspot it yet, with response on the highest setting...(screwed all the way out) do ya think they'd let me play at jungle??

i already have a responce trigger. and all the feilds that i have played at didn't have a problem with me using it. but back to the e-bolt for a second, can it be used with a drop forward. i have seen pics of it and it has hoses running form the botom line to this thing in the kit.

I have the stock drop, so I wouldn't know. The little tube that runs from the reg to thetrigger frame isn't very long, so I dought it, unless you get a biger tube.
My friend has the response and the refs at jungle make him turn it down. I've never been to sherwood, but I've always wanted to.

you can and it comes with enough to do it unless you cut your micro line into very small pieces which is very unliely unless you are using a chainsaw or similar device
