This christmas i am getting an impulse. i had changed my mind about a million times from shocker to cocker then back to shocker but the devistating news came. my 24 year old sister is having a baby girl so of course this cuts down on the funds for christmas because granny (my mom) has to buy clothes for the little child satin. my mom already knew that i had decided on a shocker and she knew the price and was ok with it. but like two days ago she says my christmas limit is 400 which is not enough to get a shocker. now to the point should i try to squeeze the extra 75 dollars out of her for the vert. reg or should i just stick with the basic at www.paintballgear.com?

i mean is it worth the extra effort and money?

Doesn't make a difference performance-wise. I have a horizontal MaxFlo and I would probably prefer a vertical just so I can use different tanks. But if I were you, I'd save the $75 and spend it on some necessary upgrades such as a tapeworm or some version like it to cure the bolt-stick problem you are going to have, a better trigger or a delrin bolt.

OK www.pbgear.com sells shocker 4x4 for 450. And www.e-paintballoutlet.com sells imps with an lpr and balde trigger for 450 so if that helps you at all.

The tapeworm costs $20. Now, you may want to go to an LPR setup which costs about $75 total for the front reg, front cap and other stuff you need. Paintballgear.com is selling the setup without the reg. I forget how much but it's pretty affordable. And the Jackhammer reg costs like, what, $30ish to $50ish?

get one of the epbo "college" packages, squeeze an extra bit to get the one with the vert reg.... if you really want that..

I really dont know they once had the HALO B on special for a few months. I am guessing they are low in inventory and thats why they are in at the Specials but give them a call. And the impulse is good choice if the shocker does not work out.

well guys i have decided on the freshman college package at www.e-paintballoutlet.com thanks to thebluenu. i have already discussed it with my mom and she says its ok but i have to give up my stocking stuffer which was Hitman 2 for xbox. i just have to save up for Hitman 2.

oh yeah one more thing does anybody know how long the freshman college package special is supposed to last?

if it last through november 15 and i order it then will it be at my house by christmas?

I've been asking and word on the street is it'll be there until after christmas, so your safe.
