what will break? the gauge or the regulator?

and what does having a gauge have to do with getting lube into the reg?

thanks

it wont affect the regulator, but most regs have a guage on it. oil breaks a guage, so i was just letting u know that if u put lube in ur reg and u had a guage on ur regulator, oil will get in the guage and break it.

uh oh... i put oil through the line and took a couple of shots on my black dragun sniper. Performance imporved, and the gauge still seems to work.... would it be horrible if the gauge really did break? The performance i got from lubing it this way seems to be more important than the actual gauge. Am i just pushing my lucK?

if the guage breaks its not that bad u can just buy another one, but mine didnt break right away either it happened over time it just weakend a little each time i used it then finally one day i gassed it up, and the needle on the guage flew off.

blah who cares, i don't really see much of a point of it anyways. While its cool to have a gauge, couldn't u just depend on how fast its shooting ???

a guage reads the output pressure of ur tank, which is also the operating pressure of ur gun. a regulator helps u adjust that, if u dont have a guage then u dont know what ur operating pressure is

Which of course is only important for bragging rights. If you marker functions that is th important part. Ifyou are really concerned about your operating pressure You need a batter gauge than any of the paintball companies sell anyway as they are not very accurate. I made a tester form an old bottomline and a nicesterret gauge which lets me chack the output of my air sources and regs. Then removed the gauges from everything.

Once again, not if you have a guage, it will break.

well like sombody up ther somwhere said gauges on paintball guns realy aint that accurate so if i dose break just forget about if if you dont realy need it and if you do then just get a new one ther are only like 12 bucks
