I have been having alot of CO2 problems. I have been going through o-rings like mad. I have a couple of questions to aks. 1st, if i got a quick disconnect could i just put it on the bottom line from my expansion chamber and 2nd could I just keep my CO2 tank in my gun, i didnt come up with this idea, but what would happen if i keep a full tank of CO2 in my gun for like 2 weeks strait before using it again, at most.

I don't suggest you leave your gun gassed up for 2 weeks.

that is not good when your done take off co2 look at the o ring if the oring is busted put a new one on it and put the co2 somewhere where it will not get hot.

If i keep it with the CO2 in it, what at most could happen though? Would all the o-rings get shot, and could i buy a quick disconnect for the gun that i just screw in the bottomline?

Every time i take off the CO2 the o-ring is shot, what the hell am i doing wrong. I dont like going through o-rings like mad and lossing all the CO2

after use, try this. it saves me o-rings. unscrew your tank just one full turn (keep track of where the burst disc is for reference) then shoot the remaining CO2 out of your gun until none is left (its the co2 still in the bottomline and whatnot), and then completely unscrew your tank.

That doesnt sound bad! When you screw your tank in though, when the CO2 enters the gun, when you hear it, do you stop screwing it in then or do you put it in all the way?

if you just unscrew the tank then the o ring will get big but if you wait then it will just shrink down and you can put it back on the tank and will work fine.

Screw it in all the way when you put it in. Like Thread said, turn it about 1 full turn, then fire out your excess CO2. You shouldn't blow an O-ring that way. If you can't figure out how to to that, then just try unscrewing the tank VERY slowly. It will let it's CO2 out more gradually that way. If you do that, your o-ring will be frozen white, but it will shrink down to normal size and color if you let it sit.

Ill do that for now but i am gonna buy an on/off valve. That should save me some time.

instead of rubber o-rings, get the vinyl ones...they last longer and cost $2 for 12 at Wal-Mart.
Other than that...I wouldnt really recomment leaving your gun gassed for 2 weeks.
Do what Thead does, I do that too.. I screw one full turn and then fire 3-5 times if my marker still has a lot of co2, then i turn again.. and repeat it.. sometimes if I turn too much I hear co2 leaking out of tank so I just fire away releasing whatever is left. If you use this method your o-ring on your co2 tank will last longer. I found that before I would do this it'd last about 3 uses of co2 tank (putting it off 3 times) now that I use a new method of dry firing the left over co2.. I get about 5+ users.. makes it last longer.. Buy urethane o-rings (you can get them for 25-50 cents each from paintball store) they'll last much longer than the rubber kinds. Though, sooner or later the o ring will break.. don't let this deter you since they are cheap to replace (40-50 cents)
on/off valve is useless since sometimes if it isn't on or off all the way the gas leaks.
