Really! $100 bucks will take you alot "further up the technological totem pole" as ICD says it! well $60, heres my suggestion:

1. Pmi Pure energy reg - Great LP reg, at a great price!
2. Turbo Valve - ANY turbo valve will do! remember a $40 turbo valve will cost you $20 over yor limit!
3. don't get rid of you stock reg! just get a metric to standerd bottom line adapter for your reg and get a macro line set! getting rid of your reg will mean you will need a new bottem line ASA adapter! thats atleast $20!

Well that setup will give you very good LP perfromance on N2 (i hope you already have your N2 tank, they cost $70 at the least!), and exceptional shots per tank. Low pressure systems will use more gas, but will give you better accuracy.

Heres the link for that metric to Standerd adapter thing for your bottem line:

I have a low pressure spyder, but i run co2. The vigilante is a great reg for nitro., and is only 60 bucks, but the problem is to go lp, ull need more stuff. I have the pmi pure energy reg, but i dont know how it works with nitro. I got rid of the stock reg because i wanted a bigger drop forward, and the way kingman made there reg, i couldnt connect it to ne thing else, so i just dumped it. It also helps to buy a new drop forwar dbecause then u wont need ne new metric to standrad adapters added to ur gun. Then, buy a turbo valve, a high flow bolt (or take the head out of ur stock bolt), and a small bored barrel for better gas efficeny, and u shoud be all set. U could buy a new lpc, but i wont do much, it just might look better.to get all of this stuf, go to

I also use the vigilante, and love it. There a couple new regs out that you might want to consider. The MacDev Gladiator and the AKA/LMP Sidewinder both seem to be good buys also (the gladiator is cheaper).

the p,mi is good, but i dont run nitro, If i was though, i woudl have bout the vigilante, it is the best nitro reg out there, and omly 69 bucks, It doesnt work with co2, however, which is the onyl reason i didnt buy it.

on the vigilant, u can, on the pmi, u cant. U either need a pressure teste,r or u can have a guage mounted and taped onto ur asa adapter, thatsh what ill have done eventually. But for now, all ill do is turn the velocity up almost all the way, and then continue to lower the pressure untill i get to 300 on the chrono. U wont know what ur shooting at, but itll still work.

the gauge on the Vigilante is kinda wierd because it reads the pressure that's going INTO the reg, not what's teh end result..

get a pmi pure energy reg. keep the reg that came w/ the spyder and get rid of that miniexpansion chamber.
