What's your gun's velocity?

I'm under the impression that the 300 fps range is safe, but what is you're markers velocity? And if you'rs is adjustable, what velocity do you set it at?

well, every paintball marker has a velocity that is adjustable.

my field uses the 300fps velocity rule, but i set my gun at just about 275 fps

My gun will not go any lower than 500fps. Every shot is a POWER SHOT! Don't worry, the air smacks it so hard that the ball instantly curves up and around..then hits me in the goggles, a 180 I tell ya!

Most speedball fields have a maximum of 280, and most rec ball fields have a max of 300.

I play speedball more often, so I keep mine at 275.

I have a crapy Spyder Compact 2000 that has a very bad velocity adjuster but mine can only go from like 200-230 fps, i think, i never chrono mine.

LoL, yes it would, guess why the ball breaks? Because energy from impact is being transferred into the ball.

What hurts more? Throwing a paintball at someone or shooting them at 300 fps? What hurts more? Getting nailed from 5 feet or 100 feet? There it is.

Well today at the beginning of the day I chronoed in at 280, but I wanted to see what my velocity was at the end of the day, and it was all the way up at 322! Damn, I'm buying a new spring. I feel bad for ALL the people I hit. ;) :(

if you use co2 it prob had a spike and thats why the pressue went up

292 The gun fluctuates by 3 fps, and my pocket chrono by 3 fps. 299 is a safety 'just in case'. Some of the fields I go to will not allow any beeping, which starts at 300. So you have to be UNDER 300, not at 300. I like to ride the limit. I would hate to play me.

i dont play at a field so i dont worry about velocity, but i did chrono it once and it was a little over 300, like 310

depends where i play at... at sc: rec is 285 fps, while arena is 300 fps, while tombstone is 285, and jungle is 285. i just set my reg to the desired velocity... and whalla my angel is set... besides she likes to please her master.

used to be 300++ but now that i could affod a chrono its at like 280-285, i think i got my tippmann up toalmost 350:) Just keep turin that little screw, i think i shot someone at about that, thats casue of a co2 spikle though, the tank made a clanging, vibrating, ringing sound
