An All American 2002. I know it is about 30 dollars more but I shot my friends AA and I really love that barrel. I am going to order a new barrel for my A-5 (Thank God) and was wondering if I should get a Lapco of AA 2002. And what paint works well in these barrels. Thanks.

I personaly like the big shot very accurate and cheaper the bore size of it is medium to small. Which is about 90% of paint most people shoot.

If you are going to choose a product please say way because the it's good doesn't help people and that's the purpose of these forum's right? I'm looking at the same Q.. but from what I've read it's bigshot for me... noise doens't matter to me

Most barrels perform pretty similarly. So get the one you like the look and price of, and you'll enjoy it.

Well theres not too much explanation if a barrel is good or bad. If good if it's accurate or quiet. The AA is both accurate and quiet. Saying it is a kick ***** barrel would pretty much sum that up. Some more proof that it rocks its that I have a Dye SS which is better than the Lapco Big Shot, and the AA is better than my Dye SS a little. Also, the new AA's got a 9.8 average for reviews. The Big Shot got a 9.3. The bore isn't medium to small either for the Big Shot, it's medium - .689 and the AA is .689-.690, medium. They both are medium bore barrels. The AA is better than the Big Shot, although you save about 25$-30$, go for the AA you will more happy with it in the long run. :agree:

BTW I'm not saying that the Big Shot it a good barrel, it is certainly good for the money. But go with AA, better barrel and very quiet. Also, countypaintball is trash, a ripoff of a store. I wouldn't take any advice from them they don't have almost every barrel, they have a bad barrel selection. To answer the "what paint works best with these barrels?", they are both medium bore and any medium bore paint would work fine. Paint to barrel is extremely important when buying a barrel so look at a sizing chart and find the paint you use, buy a barrel with the same bore size. I use PMI Premiums almost exclusively and my Dye SS (medium bore) works very nicely with them.

Get the AA. It is a better barrel for a HP marker, like your A-5, it will be more efficent and quieter because of the porting and 2 stage bore. Also if you ever decide to get a freak, you need not buy the whole kit, just a back and inserts because smart parts is smart and made all their 2piece barrels interchangable so the AA front will work with the freak back. Good luck.

Yupo. I really don't care if countypaintball has good service too. I order online to buy stuff cheap not to get help from people who don't live anywhere close to me, that I save for my local shops. Countypaintball prices suck so their store is trash.
