Top velocity in tourny or rec

i was just wondering what the top velocity aloud is in a tourny or recreational game at a field.... cuz when i played at this one field they said nothing over 300 so i set mine down a bit.. then i went to a different field a few days later and the guy said the max velocity for anything besides home play is 160?????? i dont think so.. he also said it was the paintball rules from the TOP people... or as he put it the NPA national paintball accosiation.. yah... right what do u think?

300 is the usual standard. Some fields do 280 for extra leeway. Some indoor fields will drop it even lower because of the unusually close shooting. 160 is absurd though. That wouldn't even allow paint to break most of the times.

i had to take out and put in 3 different springs!!!!! and lower my thumb adjust all the way out!!! i was soo mad..... but i played for free hehe hes like pay when ur done... i just left :laugh:

probably felt bad for jerking you around so much. 160 would make for some intense 30 feet games:rolleyes:
indoor around here is 250, outdoor 290.
