I'm a newbie but I'm really into paintball. I've taken all the articles I read to heart and follow them the best I can.
But, I am almost ALWAYS being hit in the hopper, gun or mask. How can I reduce my profile while snap shooting?

When snap shooting, your best bet would to pop up here and there for a fraction of a second at a time. Never expose anything. Only be exposed when you are shooting. And when you are shooting, expose as little as possible. Try to pop up in different places, when behind a bunker, pop up on the left of it... Then maybe the right... Just mix it up. Good luck, and good shooting.

stay low and pop up and get a couple shots well if they got heavy ammo it will be tough but always pop out in different places.

pull the trigger slightly befor you leave the bunker so rite when you pop out a ball is already going towards them......learn to shoot with your off hand...dont look over the top of a bunker unless it is the only way...looking over the top gives everyone on the field a shot at you......try to use holes as much as posible.....if you dont know where people r dont just look out the bunker....use holes and cracks...

here are two pointers. If you are going to stick any part of your body out from behind your bunker:
1. Avoid sticking your head out from the same spot 2x times in a row.
2. The lower you stick your head out, meaning, closer to the ground, the less your opponent will expect your from there. Basically, lower is harder to see than higher.
