Im thinking of buying the tantrum chip for my bko is it really worth it and how hard is it to install???

Many people like having the extra firing modes, and the Tantrum has 2 additional modes over the Chaos chip. All you have to do is take the chip off the board and put the new one on. I think Goldie said he got a BKO with Choas chip up to 16 BPS full auto safely. It's about as high it will go on a BKO.

you get the extra firing modes on it??? i thought u couldnt on the BKO
the chip has more firing modes than the stock bko chip

Yes you can but you can't cycle your gun as highly as you would a Bushy. I think 16 BPS is the safest and highest you would want to go with a BKO. This goes for Full Auto, 2 burst and all the others.

no, it's lcd compatible, so it'll work with lcd but you don't need lcd for the chip to work

It's a nice chip and not too much $ but as far as worth it, I would say it's not going to do to much. You will probably only use it for looking slick at the chrono firing super fast, but the BKO fires 15bps and you really won't use the potential of the chip ever except for shooting around for fun.

I would say if you got $ to spare go for it, it'll be a fun upgrade. But if your on a budget and havn't upgraded much or anything yet on your BKO, do that 1st before buying the tantrum chip.
